30FPS looks objectively terrible. You don't buy 30fps slideshow games in 2026, do you anon?
The human eye can only see 17 fps
I play turn based 2D games. I don't think they even have FPSes.
>>750631658Wrong. The human eye can only see 24fps, that's why movies are in 24fps. 12fps in the left eye, and 12fps in the right eye.
>>750631929im about to give your mum 12 inch tonight you smartypants faggot
>>750631929this
>>75063157450 million people will do just that in a few weeks
>>750631929It's actually 20 fps which is Ocarina of Time's frame rate. Movies are 24 because frames were 20% off and filmmakers thought it would be better to get a little more.
>>750633092But Ocarina of Time was 18 fps.
>>750632819And nobody will notice because they built the GTA VI gameplay around it being a 30 fps game
>>75063157430 FPS with motion blur looks more lifelike than 60 FPS without motion blur.your status = BTFO
>>750633258>they can just 30fps not look like 30fps!!Imagine being this dump. The second you pan the camera the fact that it's 30fps is immediately visible, there's nothing a developer can do about that. Their own trailer footage looked exactly like a 30fps slideshow to anyone with functioning eyeballs.
In FPS with mouse, 60 fps is no longer enough for me. And no fake frame shit. For non-FPS, frame gen to 120 fps is actually alright. With pad it's borderline unnoticeable.
>>750631574I find that it depends on the engine. UE5 for example needs like 120+ actual frames to not look like the right pic.
>>750631918The classic 2D games all ran at 60fps before bad programmers convinced people 30 was gud enuf.
>>750633938they can use motion blur
>>750631658Obvious bait
>>750631574I'd rather 30fps and a low resolution, but a high framerate helps controls, which are especially needed in shooters.Got to ask yourself: Do I want to halve (or more) the graphics?
>>750631574I don't buy 60 fps slideshow games either
