What I don't get are people who just want the future of Castlevania to be Bloodstained but worse. So far no other dev has ever been able to compete with Igarashi's team at their own game. Could it be done in theory? For sure. Igarashi's team aren't perfect or without faults or anything. But so far no one has ever been able to do what they do as well as they've done it. So I really wouldn't bet on Konami finding a team to do it better or even as good. And if you actually hire Igarashi's team to do it? Then that'd be at the expense of Bloodstained. Castlevania being reminiscent of Classicvania and Metroidvania while remaining distinct to both, is honestly ideal.
