This is a very specific recommendation that I need, but is there any full length game that feels similar to the unadulterated kino ending of MGS3?
As in, the protagonist is completely changed and bitter towards their authority/situation.
I've played the other MGS games but they're way too funny to take seriously

It's tough because most stories but the sense of betrayal somewhere else to make it motivation for something, but also because MGS3 is hard to beat in general. Maybe LA Noire a little bit? It's been forever since I played it though.
