I have Dell's weird OEM 4090. Can't overclock it or anything, but it was made to be small and thermally efficient and I can live with that.

>>750605770It's both. You don't have to believe me, do your research. I got a 12% boost in performance on my 5080 and it never goes above 290 watts at max. Most games it only uses 200 watts. Runs 10-15C cooler depending on the game and it runs better than stock. It's truly magic. The fans don't work as hard either.

It takes like 5 minutes. 5080 OC's like a monster, you can basically turn it into a 4090. The problem is not all 5080s are the same so some undervolt better than others as well as OCs. You can't damage your card unless you OC like crazy like a retard, in which case it won't really get damaged, but auto shutdown due to being unstable.

>>750607307You can do an overclock and undervolt. Undervolting is literally limiting the voltage the card receives. It also forces the card to operate at a specific clock speed per voltage. So you can force the card to use a max of 950 mV, but have it stay at 3000 MHz clock speed. You will significantly prolong the life of your card if you undervolt though.
