>outside of missions, V is the only person in night city that can enter or leave the megabuildings>V is the only criminal who can steal vehicles>V is the only person who notices the thousand upon thousands worth of eddies, weapons and gear lying around>V is the only person who can call a taxiIs everyone else just stupid? Maybe this is why Night City has so many problems.
>>750599038No that would be you for forgetting you’re playing a video game
>>750599175The Witcher feels like Geralt is truly a menace but not unbeatable and he knows it, going as far as avoiding confrontation to some peers that could easily slit his throat. Characters acknowledge this and Geralt, and he acknowledges them back.In CP, V can enter a millitary base unmatched, unnoticed, deploy a mind virus that wipes 50 soldiers, slice people with clearly illegal body modifications that should NOT be on the streets (kinda like the Sandevistan is treated in the anime) and nobody ever acknowledges this. For whats the story worth, V is a common low life, even though he carries a rocket on his wrist and had connections to the shadiest people in the city, and nobody even gives some credit. It is not gaming ludonarrative, it is just lazy dumbass writing.
There was that one mission where if you had enough rep or something, a bunch of lowlife crims that were robbing a bar would run away. But many games have this problem, unless they are built from the start to acknowledge player actions narratively and engage, e.g. dishonored or blood money.
>>750599038Go jerk off over GTA 6 with your reddit buddies retard, that's a game full of pointless details like that that add nothing to the gameplay
>>750599038I just wanted immersive rpgInstead I got a glorified borderlands clone with a dialogue system worse than in fallout 4
