the building geometry is a little simple and the textures look kinda flat as well. the difference is somewhat subtle but even forza horizon has made noticeable improvements over the years as far as graphics go. writing has gotten shittier and shittier tho and 3 was already not good to begin with

4 had really nice graphics, the lighting with dynamic weather and seasons was peak, and dynamic reflections were amazing, it really felt like a jump towards photorealism

but its nowhere near what fh2 did, like honestly going from fh1 on 360 to fh2 on xbone is impressive

but shit got worse and worse, fh1 has roads so bumpy you can fly off the tarmac, newer fh have roads so wide you can be legally blind and still drive without issues
