Are you gonna ride the bus in gta 6 to get everywhere?
If it works like cabs as a means of fast travel, sure.
>>750592136Fast travel was a mistake
>>750592225I'm sure you can ride it the full way if you want or hold a button to skip to your destination.
gta 4 let you ride the train and taxis and it came out 4000 years ago
30 fps
>>750592718Yes, and? The train would just arrive every so often, the time frame was sporadic. Taxis would just take you wherever. Wow. Gta6 is talking about having a on the clock timeframe with buses and trains. You know, like real life. I know you still understand what this means but you're a simpleton.
but can i hijack a train?
>Be at bus stop 5 minutes before bus is supposed to show up>Wait 1 hour>NothingWow! So realistic!>Bus finally shows up>It's packed to the brim because it's carrying passengers that were supposed to be picked up by at least 3 earlier busses>Get constantly assaulted by BO and have your wallet stolen>Get shanked trying to get out at the next bus stop
ANOTHER ONE RIDES THE BUS
>>750593730Very realistic
There are players to this day who didn't know they could take a cab everywhere in GTAIV, and that's how you get the Liberty City Minute achievement
>>750593730Maybe you can get ambushed on the bus and have to fight off a feral nigger. Maybe 1/10th of the time?
>>750592904Its just not as impressive as you think it is.
Imagine taking the bus in Miami
>>750592680This never works well because of the way time passes in games. Riding the bus will take literal in-game hours. In RDR2 you could spend an entire day and into the night riding the trolley from one side of the city to another.
>>750595110I never once said it was impressive. I'm trying to help that anon think a little bit because it seems to be an issue for him. A lot of people think surface level and can't understand information.
>>750591993>steal or destroy buses any time I see one to deny poors transportation and, consequentially, employment>as a result, all the most predatory businesses that count on welfare to supplement their employees' wages suffer millions in lost productivityJust doing my part.
>>750591993>the industry is so cooked that scripting a vehicle to follow a set path is now considered impressive
>>750595501Based
>>750595465You sound pretty impressed.
>>750595596zoomies think cyberunk's open world is the most interactive ever made. The thought of transport actually functioning via real-time systems with NPCs actively getting on and off etc instead of just loading scenes with static NPCs like the night city metro, is mindblowing for them.
>>750597162Oh, explain how? Thanks.
>>750591993It's sad that they feel they have to program this shit in when ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NO ONE is going to use it.>go to bus stop>press interact button on sign>bus spawns in and rolls up>pick destination>PC gets on bus, fade out, fade in with player at destination bus stop and bus driving away to despawnThis is all you needed to do.
I remember that my copy of GTA V came with a map, and there were bus and train routes on that map. I never checked if they were accurate in the game because, at the end of the day, it's a shitty-ass game where you just mess around with the physics until you get tired of it, but I think everything worked just as the manual said it would.
>>750597885>I never checked if they were accurate>think everything worked just as the manual said it would
>GTAV>physics Lol
>>750591993wow i cant wait to use it once and forget it ever existed until a youtube video essay made 10 years from now will remind me of it
>>750593730>go on crowded bus>stand next to hot girl>rub your body next to hers for the whole bus rideI used to take public transport during high school and this is what I did
