Post-Halloweenie games. Shit that isn't horror but has a lot of ghosts, skeletons, and other tropey creatures. Or just has too much gameplay to be scary.

Probably one of the most Halloweenie games of all time.
The first Batty Zabella. Feels very much like Elvira/The Munsters/The Addams Family. I did find this one particular combat section to be annoying though.
One of the few games actually set on Halloween.
This is a great one for some spooky vibes. I'm not sure if the other games/remakes are good or not though.
I'm a sucker for this kind of green slime vibe. Europe got the best cover for whatever reason.
Not sure if the re-release is good, I can't imagine that they would have censored anything.
>>750599387I'm pretty sure I played 2 before I actually played 1 and it was great. Just took the original game mechanics and went "here's more shit on top". So I'm sure some will play 1 for its more simple stuff, but from my nostalgic memory 2 was still a great game and the kind of sequel those games got back in the day.

I think Dead Rising hits a nice spooky vibe. Doesn't get too far into horror. It's almost entirely indoors though, so it doesn't really hit a lot of Fall vibes.
Buffy has a number of games (GBC, GBA, XBOX and then one cross-platform game across the XBOX and PS2). I'm of the opinion that the best of the bunch is pic related, the XBOX exclusive. I wish the sequel, Chaos Bleeds, was better as it allowed you to play as Buffy, Spike and Willow.
Best tendie Halloween game. It's a shame the sequels could never live up to the original.

I haven't played this yet, but it seems like it would be alright. Definitely the right vibes, but it's apparently very linear and broken into these small chunks of mini challenges.
