Bungie just announced that they plan to restore ALL of the removed content from Destiny 2. Even the seasons along with all the related content. We are so fucking back
kwabathon
that's not going to get people who weren't playing to suddenly play it
>>750590904So the removals weren't necessary after all, huh?
>>750590986IDK, because people love PVE shooter content. I think this could really bring people back, especially if they already had Destiny 2 and didn't have to buy anything. People love casual slop content like this.
>>750590904But does that include CHADbit prime? I don't care otherwise.
I want a physical edition with all the content.I don't care that it'll come on a 1TB external SSD.
>>750590904> [...] we will tell you that nothing can help us bridge us into the future more than for Marathon to evolve rapidly and become sustainable.[...]HAHAHAHAAHAHHAH
>>750590904It is mostly shit content but I'm glad I will be able to access the content I paid for. Although all the classic balancing is probably lost to the ages, the old content is soulful. The old music especially. The music got really generic around season of arrival. Then it became like halo 3 where you have maybe 10 good songs and 110 generic songs that fade into the background. >>750590986They just need to throw the busywork between doing enjoyable things in the trash. First thing you got when you started a new character after beyond shite was some busywork and then pre alpha tier missions, which upon completion brought up a menu that suggested you give them money to play more. The original campaign wasn't like that. You did missions until you finished all of them, and you could do side missions in-between if you wanted to. And busywork was a choice. People didn't push back on the busywork in forsaken's tangled shore quests. If they did, shadowkeep and every following content drop might not have been 90% busywork.
>>750593156They're better off buying dogecoin
>>750593156>the communities need to healWhat is this cringe shit? They're fucking VIDEO GAMES, not centuries old tribal conflicts in some third world shithole where people are killing each other. You're shooting robots and aliens and shit, get over yourself.
>>750593156>we have this old boat but what we need to do is meet up with and then all board the Titanic
>>750594632>They're fucking VIDEO GAMES, not centuries old tribal conflictsLooking at Bungie discussion on 4chan (/v/, /vg/, /vm/) and how Destiny fans behave in general, you'd think otherwise.
>>750597294Players can be autistic losers who get into holy wars over vidya, I don't mind that. But if that pic I was quoting was from an official Bungie news post, then it's retarded nonsense from a terminally online community manager who thinks their vidya job is important or serious work.
>>750597501That's just an overly emotional way of saying that having the communities of their only 2 games be in a sort of rivalry that they are currently in is bad for their bottom line.
>>750597763There's not really a rivalry. Destiny fans rejected Marathon because it's not the game they're interested in and trying to put a lazy PVE mode in Marathon isn't going to get them to start playing, especially now that Destiny 2's vaulted content is coming back.
>>750591207>>750590986this is as close as d2 is getting to a "d2 classic". it will be very popular ffor sure
>>750593156kek
What was the point of making us wait 2 months? They could have said this in September. God, I fucking hate nu Bungie.
>>750598763Two reasons, I bet>they didn't want to mess with Wolverine's launch (lol)>the patch won't be ready until next year anyway and it won't come out anywhere near GTA6 or the Marathon PVE patch in December
