redguards are actually cool but i imagine they'll get reduced to the most lame shit possible with them being the main race for one game. just like with with nords in skyrim. it'll probably be more annoying though due to how society is these days.
Not really, Bethesda's last good game release was Skyrim (2011), everything else since has been varying degrees of shit. And even Skyrim continued the trend of sliding towards mediocrity when compared to Oblivion and Morrowind. I have absolutely no evidence, nothing, that would give me any sort of confidence that they're gonna suddenly pull a 180 and release a good game for TES:VI.

Hammerfell is not a bad setting. Deserts are kino and you can bet if I buy it I’m going to larp as a crusader in the desert. Argonians and Khajeets are gay and it’s better than whatever bland garbage they would come up with in an elven land, which should be sufficiently weird. But bethesda hasn’t made a good game in 15 years so it’s probably going to be garbage anyways.
