It has a good sense of adventure and wonder to a degree.Like, if you dig the art-style and get a kick out of sailing and seeing what awaits you in a changed world, then it's for you, y'know?I totally understand why some may hate it. I think it's not bad, but could have been more. The fact they didn't expand on it more with HD is such a shame, but allegedly they likely reused it's cut dungeon's concepts in later Zelda games anyway.
I like Wind Waker a lot more than I think even most people and even I don't consider it the best Zelda game, where are you even hearing that? Most people tend to go for LTTP or Link's Awakening for the 2D games and OOT, MM, or BotW for the 3D games.

>>750585842I really wish they'd revisit the concept now that Nintendo's sitting on a golden throne of cash and Switch sales. Wind Waker had all of the right ingredients but just didn't have enough time in the oven to properly execute them.

It's not going to be everyone's favourite but it does scratch a unique itch. Like, it's easy to tear it apart with critizism of individual aspects, but the game is better than the sum of its (flawed) parts, and the aftertaste it leaves behind is good.>>750586220I keep hearing this, and while it's true, it's just as hard as TP, only in here the difficulty matches the happy go lucky visuals.In my opinion, the game becomes much better if you leave all exploration for the triforce hunt and dont try to wander about too much before that.
