>Pro controller
>Doesn't even have analog triggers
Who buys this shit?
>>
the only games I can think of that use analog trigger effects are mario sunshine, f zero and melee all of which came out 25 years ago

It's almost like Nintendo stopped having analog triggers after the gamecube...

Filename. Thanks.

what games in the last 5 years other than racing games have used analog triggers? genuine question
>>
Only xbox has analog triggers so for a game to truly use em it will need to be an xbox exclusive. Hell even on steam you'll run into the problem of not only forcing controllers onto people who most likely dont want to use a controller but making sure they have an Xbox controller at that. Basically as a dev you dont want to make analog triggers an integral part of the control scheme

No wonder Mario Kart World flopped.

The only games I care about having analog triggers for are racing games (and even then not all of them). Most of the time I'd actually prefer digital triggers, if anything. That being said, there's controllers out there with hybrid triggers (analog triggers that can be made to work as digital triggers effectively), which is probably the best overall solution. I have a Vader 5 Pro which even gives the triggers a tactile click like the other buttons when the trigger stop is used, which feels pretty nice compared to most other controllers that only half-ass that aspect.

Why would Mario Kart require analog triggers?

>no - button

Those faggot fuckers put a game chat button but no - and the controller is unusable in 75% of games (good luck if you need to zoom out in Fire Emblem Three Houses for example)
