I just realized that multiplayer games are not worth playing. They can be fun, but they are fun for like 20% of the time and 80% of time they feel boring/waste of time/second job. I will never play multiplayer only games again. I wish I had realized it sooner. A good single player game is fun 95%+ of the time.

just the transition most men have from being young, high test and wanting to dominate, to being a meek middle aged cuckold who wants to do nothing but vegetate until the grave
of course video games aren't a good outlet for that vitality but that's another matter
>>
The point of games is to have fun.
If you have fun playing an MP game it's worth playing.
The reason you're not having fun is explained here: >>750575231

It’s exactly the opposite. Most of the time, it’s going to be a complete loser in real life who wants to mog other men online and dedicate all his free time to it, because he has nothing going on for him IRL, kek

It's as if engagement oriented match making (EOMM) isn't a thing and that having fun playing with equally skilled people isn't their goal, right?
>>

I have friends trying to get me to play deadlock, but the idea of getting stuck in a match for 40 minutes that you can't leave is something I'm never doing again
>>

Word. And you know why that is? Because 90% of people online are unpleasant
>>
in the long run it's not worth it because all you're doing is literally killing time
you're having fun in the moment, but you're having fun doing the exact same thing over and over again so you're not even creating new lasting memories
if you play the same multiplayer game over and over you're going to wake up after 5 or 10 years and start wondering where has all the time gone
if you're playing whatever new multiplayer game for a couple weeks and then switching to the next one that's a lot healthier

The modern internet is so humourless, things were way less bad when you could be freely racist and obnoxious
>>
>>750575858
yeah they have that vitality but no good looks or charisma to go along with it so they do it online
>>
They are only fun with friends. People who play the same online game a few hours a day everyday seem quite miserable and are prone to temper tantrums. These people are incapable of having fun unless they are only winning, but even then the absolute spike in cortisol they get from playing a shit match pales in comparison to the dull satisfaction of winning. Id rather play a single player game I find or do a hobby I find relaxing because working is stressful enough lmao.

>bro the trannies and dysgenic nerds who play competitive multiplayer games all day are actually high test
>>750575425
>the point is having fun
Have you never played a game of CS or LOL? Nobody who plays these games have fun, unless they find autistic meltdowns fun. Maybe something like TF2 or Chiv is fun to most of the playerbase but not anything ranked.

Just say you like winning all the time

Welcome to the club anon. Stress free fun as far as the eyes can see.

I don't get people who feel like everything needs to have some grand meaning or end goal. There are some games I enjoy playing against others for its own sake. Just the sheer challenge of seeing how I stack up against others and what I can adapt to and improve on.

Sometimes you need to toss logic asidw and just get lost in the experience, provided you genuinely find it fun.
