I'm considering playing Fear 1&2. I got them forever ago on a deep sale, and I recall them being scary as fuck but I also played them when I was 10 so they may not hold up anymore.

>>750576347Yeah its really good but the selling point is hellraiser. if you are not into hellraiser lore and sex/gore aesthetics you might not think as highly of it.Its a B game so dont expect top quality. then the gameplay is a mix between RE formula, like it really copies lots from RE layout then with a little but of im sim like gameplay with powers and other things.Bit of im sim like stealth at the beginning. im sim notes, audio logs and environmental story telling.Its not too long either, same size of an RE game on your first playthrough.Well worth playing especially that its not even a full priced game like a AAA.My major issue with it is there is a bit too much inventory management because its looting for crafting materials, ammo and melee weapons then they have treasures (for a merchant) that also take up a large inventory space. So to try and like min/max the scare loot you are having to back and forth or craft stuff you dont want to yet or dump things.I did play on normal but an extra issue is on anything but normal its only manual saves no auto saves and this shit, these saves are very far apart and you can and will die often (on 1st playthrough) to shit like traps or ambushes (a stalker for example)The melee weapons are limited, like pick one up and it has 7 hits before it breaks or you need to repair it.of course by the end it throws enemies at you and you have loads of ammo and good weapons.Doesnt hold back on the gore but its not as sexy as I would have wanted it. i would have wanted bitched getting fucked and cunts mutilated etc. Its rather tame on specific sexual violence but has sex, nudity and gore on its own.
