With how quickly people are able to slop together a game in 1-2 days, it's only a matter of time before we get a single guy or small team that pours like $20K into an ambitious indie title that rivals triple-A slop. It doesn't have to be better than the best triple-A games, just good enough to beat the worst triple-A games. That will be the proof people need to go for it. Larger studios will try to replicate it and fail because consumers have higher expectations of them and they'll try to sell games for $80+ a pop while indie devs will sell their game for $20 and retire as multi-millionaires.

You could have started elementary school and finished high school and entered college between the releases of gta 5 and gta6.
