the only fun singleplayer games are the hard and difficult ones
>challenge is required for a game to be funNo shit.Everything in life you do will feel empty if its easy.
Replayability and variety matter more. Though, difficulty often does overlap with replayability.
>currently having lots of fun fixing up a ghetto commie blockIt's neither hard nor difficult. It's time consuming and tedious. I guess it's not a real game considering I'm not routing the NorKor invasion or staying up late night ballin'. Also Noita is difficult in that you make poor decisions.
>>750568221noita isn't hard or difficult, it's a knowledge check
Why are the only fun single player games knowledge checks and not the hard and difficult ones?
>>750568221I dont understand the basics of wand spell interactions and I've been playing for 40 hoursWhen does it start making sense
>>750569469When you realize Shuffle means "the modifies happen randomly" and No Shuffle means "the modifies happen in sequence."

>>750568221>roguelikegambling with extra steps
>>750568221Noita is fun in the sense that you can dick around making overpowered spells and die in stupid ways, but I wouldn't say the difficulty from its restrictions like needing to backtrack for editing wands make it fun.The most fun I have is when a game's difficulty is just enough to have a win be a close call that could have gone either way. More than that and it's just trial and error, less than that and it's too easy.
>>750568691>knowledge checkforsen, your really need to play this game
>>750568221the only fun games are singleplayer
>>750568221I can't stand games like this>10% chance on hit to spawn a flying dildo that spits acid for 1+8.2*2.3 acid damage per 2 second
>>750570690But the game in OP isn't even that, anon.
>>750568221While I agree, I just don't have the mental strength required to play Ninja Gaiden on hard or 100% Project Gotham Racing anymore. The days of having a good time playing a game with tight gameplay are gone.
