A lot of those moves were really important to properly adjust positioning while whalloping the monster; especially the loss of the backwards swing mid-combo. It was unironically the most versatile move.Also they don't have unique sounds for all three notes. Went from most soul to least soul weapon class. One thing that Rise HH oddly irks me that I haven't seen anyone mentioned before is that every Rise HH always has red+blue+green note combination, while the old note system has all sorts of colored notes which gives each HH its own personality.
