So from what I understand, Claude was used to reverse engineer the Switch 2's infrastructure or whatever to bypass the locks it had to prevent it being used as an emulation base, right? But all it basically did was just brute force it, right? In that essence, it saved a lot of time.. there's no telling how long it would've taken without it, and it's already been what, 1 year since the S2 dropped? I know the S1 was extremely vulnerable, but this still took a while. What a complicated feeling this situation gave me. On one hand, I'm glad S2 emulation is now speeding up. On the other, it was still done with AI. But it would have been much slower without AI, and from the look of things, it seems once that lock got bypassed, the person behind it started modeling the emulator manually, so that's good. But the real thing I'm worried about is that it was able to crack it this fast after a new release. It makes me a bit concerned how it could be used against other types of security systems. I got a bad feeling about all of this, to be honest.
