Granblue Fantasy got another canon yuri couple (full on marriage).
Silver Palace still focuses almost exclusively on femC and has some gay ass animations going on.
Heaven Burns Red main story is reaching its final chapter, so pairings are about to get canon.

I know it won't be a proper yuri game (because China and because there's a male MC)
but I do love just how blunt they are about having Red Rose flirting with the female MC on the official trailers

Dev has got to be a disgruntled Vertin and Schneider fan. I even sometimes mistaken them for each others.

Huh, that's surprising. CBT2 recently ended and there's still CBT3 which has no date

I'm honestly shocked how much they are already getting away with. I assume that once it hits the big leagues they will have to use the censor pens on everything.

So nothing explicit. Just a bunch of bait.

    >>4597070
I guess some people just see what they want to see. Coming here of all places to day a yuri ship is just bait is ironic
    >>
    >>4597070
I'm guessing Jeht being into Lumine and not Aether to the point she's given different lines and in game scenes that's more intimate toward Lumine is also bait.
    >>
    >>4597082
Yes it fucking is. Literally nothing comes of it. That's the definition of bait. Hoyo doesnt commit outside of HI3... ever.
    >>
    >>4596993
It's been confirmed like a hundred times already including by the developer that she hasn't been removed. Feels like people are trying to spread misinformation here.
    >>
    >>4597085
Man its funny how no one fights harder to discredit yuri in a gacha game than so called yuri fans.
    >>
    >>4597112
Man it's funny how brainlets always try to use these bad semantics to pretend yuri exists in het games. It doesn't work. Yuri fans want actual yuri, not bait.
I know you have no standards, but people who actually care about yuri do. And having a game, that has no actual romance, bait you with some very, very light shipbait is cynical at best, not something to celebrate. You slover over crumbs thrown to the ground and wonder why nobody else is crouching down to lick the floor with you.

I haven't seen anybody deny the yuri in TowaTsugai. Was it maybe because the characters actually told each other they loved each other, had kisses and wer dating? It's a mystery.
    >>
    >>4597128
I genuinely question if you like yuri or if you're just a troll here to just to hate on it
    >>
    >>4597085
    >>4597128
Doen't HI3 have het ships as well. Kevin and Mei have a lot of scenes in game and in manga form.
    >>
    >>4597274
Kevin is a character that gets ridiculed by players for several reasons. If you know the game, you could also point out that terrible Rimestar arc, the very existence of the Captainverse and APHO or how there are male flame chasers.
And if you were a player or understood the players, then you would also know that everyone hates these parts.
Ch. 3 of Part 2 made it pretty clear that this shit was forced by the suits against the will of the devs. Ever since, HI3 players have been eating good... for the most part, now there's a Captainverse event again and it's terrible, as expected.
Yes, of course, if you want a story that simply doesn't make sense without yuri, HI3 is your best bet.
However, shipping is yuri, goggles are yuri, subtext is yuri, why does this even have to be pointed out? I don't know much about Genshin, to be fair, but if Genshin players see something in two girls, then their view is completely valid.
    >>
    >>4597088
even if they didn't remove her it still doesn't bode well if she that low of a priority for them to still not finish her meanwhile the dude is literally in your face
    >>
    >>4597664
Its so bad people are genuinely asking if she's in the game still
    >>
    >>4597582
    >everyone hates it
If it was actually finanically unviable they wouldn't do it over and over again. Just accept that the fandom is full of retarded het self-insertfags and always has been.
    >shipping is yuri
It's not yuri in the actual game, which is rather the point. And imaginary subtext is not a "valid" view. It's copium.

No, the only times sensei is ever specified, he is male. In the game. Stop trying to cope. This has been a long established fact.
    >>
    >>4605616
Nope, you might argue that sensei is written to be male, but "he" is never uttered.
    >>
    >>4605617
Actually he got male pronouns in several events. And his pic is of a badly drawn dude.
Holy fuck give it up retard. This has been a closed and shut case for nearly a decade now. Blue Archive is irrelevant to /u/. Period.

    >>4605678
English translation is sometimes of questionable quality (press F for the main TL who was great) so it doesn't count. Those were likely accidents because unlike Korean or Japanese avoiding gendered pronouns is really hard in English, and you sometimes slip up by accident. Trust me, I slipped up once too - because in my native language "protagonist" is exclusively a "he" word - and was fucking flamed into oblivion on what was still Twitter back then. The game absolutely keeps it vague in the other scripts.
Doodle sensei, genderless-ness of which may be debatable, is exclusive to the Arona Channel videos, which I would argue aren't canon to the game anyway. The game itself is absolutely adamant that Sensei is >(You), whoever that may be. Just a goody-two-shoes yowa-yowa non-bulletproof adult from outside Kivotos who spends their hard-earned real life money on helping fictional students.
...but I won't argue that the writers most likely had a male protagonist in mind, and all of the outside-of-the-game marketing materials including spin-offs and adaptations do rather strikingly point towards that direction. How much of that may have been due to the playerbase expecting a male protagonist in the first place and Nexon/Yostar just eventually responding to that - I cannot say. Indeed, there is little room for yuri in the franchise, as much as it pains me. I wish there was a game with a similar setting that was /u/-friendly. At least Stella Sora exists with Maou-chan as an option.

On a tangential note, while I like Seia as a character, her surname being 百合園 is an absolute nuisance whenever I'm looking for BA yuri art on social media.

    >>4604865
    >why can't people be normal?
Soshage players are tribalistic and and entitled, so the communities are often insufferable. I will never stop being befuddled by people being mad that something that doesn't cater specifically to them is allowed to exist, even though it doesn't take anything away from what they enjoy.

    >>4605774
    >actually caping for a het harem game
maybe actual yuri games wouldn't eos if people stopped trying to hype up omnislop or male mc slop games as yuri
    >>
    >>4607663
Maybe they wouldn't eos if they'd be good and actually release outside of their containment country.
Though.. BA isn't exactly good either. Especially after the recent Nexon being Nexon thing. Personally dropped it ages ago, and I never quite understood much of the yuri appeal, other than the obvious two cute girls together and it had some pretty good designs after all.

But all /u/ fully relevant gacha I tried I dropped by now as well, because they just weren't good. Reverse 1999 had the worst battle system I've ever seen, making me quit less than a week after launch, while HBR stalled everything story to hell and back, while refusing to make events take place after story released years ago, and then spit into costumer's faces as if it's the player's fault the game becomes less popular.

I also tried the JP version of Assault Lily and Yuuki Yuuna (shortly before the latter eosed, funnily enough), but those weren't able to make me stay for more than a few days either. The former was piss poor in every single way, while of the latter I only remember how they had banners that gives you something extra after 200 pulls that were FULLY PAID ONLY, and that the adaption of the anime story was extremely awful, rushed and removed what made the anime good.

When it comes to gacha.. /u/ stuff is in a sad state. Especially because it's pretty much all subtext, even if it's heavy. So playing big ones with occasional /u/ content will give you more solid art and secondary content than anything else on the market. As sad as it is.
In the end regardless of how much you like yuri, you still want something that's fun first and foremost. And that is also different for everyone.
    >>
    >>4607761
Or how about Towa Tsugai? Actual yuri game that was isolated to Japan and then Square Enix shot it in the back of the head like they inevitably do to all their mobile games.

Just face the reality that a *real* yuri game will never make the profits that a publisher would see as worthwhile to keep the servers running.
    >>
    >>4607761
Sounds like that just creates a loop then. Yuri fans don't play /u/ relevant games because they're "not good" or don't bother to look for them and stick to whatever is popular. So devs just stick to creating games that aren't /u/ relevant because that's what works and yuri fans are content with being fed crumbs, or I guess in BA's case pretty much nothing at all outside of fanon.
It does just depend on your own taste I suppose, but pretty much every game will have its flaws. Personally I enjoy HBR and I think D4DJ is really great for rhythm gaming (has technical scoring too, a big plus for me).

Supporting something just because it's /u/ usually means settling for slop, and I'd rather play dolls with girls that have some chemistry in non-yuri games than do that.
That said, BA is also slop ever since the talent that actually made the game left.

    >HBR stalled everything story to hell and back, while refusing to make events take place after story released years ago
Somewhat good news. The last event in JP was set either during or after the final chapter, and it's a fucking trip.

Square is shit and this is also their fault for not making it global, but maybe if yurifags actually supported these games instead of games with a male mc that bait. If you want to post fanart go ahead, but a general gacha thread allows discussion.
    >>4607832
Even HBR and Bushiroad games are better than that male mc harem slop that bred the worst generation of third world incels who post Epstein memes under people's yuri fanart. Forgive me for not wanting to play games made for these people.

    MTL of relevant portion:
    >──How will their relationships and the story unfold within the series?

    >Omori: The story is set in a world where schools attended by the “Hare-jo” girls exist nationwide, and the Hare-jo girls participate in a club called the “Hare-jo Club,” where they patrol the streets to keep them clean.

    >The Harejo Club at Tenseijo Gakuen in the Kanto region was on the verge of being disbanded, with Yuri Amanohara running it single-handedly—but when the protagonist, Himawari, joins the club, things really start to take off. You’ll be able to thoroughly enjoy not only the main story but also the individual character episodes, which depict how they meet and deepen their bonds.

Some soshage called "Shintou Senki Princess Blade" is going to release on DMM and they claim it's "yuri (girl's love). The art style is a bit generic though, so generic that at first I thought it's AI.

are we sure it's not a cool male mc that just converts lesbians? also that is 100% ai art
    >>
    >>4616337
Looking it up, I see mentions that the R18 version includes futanari sex scenes, so that's a deal breaker right there.
    >>
    >>4616492
A social game with actual porn? The hell.
    How optional is the futashit?
    >>
    >>4616492
Bummer. Though I guess I should have expected that from a DMM game, I was surprised they published something that self-describes as "百合(ガールズラブ)" since it's a bit antithetical to DMM and its core audience.
    >>4616448
No male MC in sight for now. I don't think they'll risk getting flamed into oblivion, though there have been such cases...
As for the art, maybe it's heavily edited AI? Like, the art style does look a lot like the generic slop styles, but none of the details are fucked up. Clothing is consistent across sprites, hair and ribbons don't have uncanny folds, hands are fine, sword details are fine. I want to give the benefit of the doubt here, although perhaps that's a big ask for a generic DMM game.
    >>
    >>4616529
It's DMM, most of their games have a separate R18 version, I think KanColle was an outlier
    >>
    >>4616529
It seems that you need to use a special item to "grow that" for special scenes, so I guess you can just not use it.
    >>
    >>4617348
That's already far less damning to me then. If there was optional hetshit that would not be as easily forgiven, but if they can just optionally have futashit and you can ignore it then it*s not actually that bad.
