I wanted to like it, and the brides, the werewolf and frank are all great, but it's not there. That said, if someone I know hasnt seen it and wants to watch it? Ill watch it.
>>224053445Constantine by a huge margin. It is a much more thought out and well paced movie. Sure Van Helsing is camp, but it's still also trying to be summer blockbuster. Van Helsing is a lot of things at once, and misses the A+ for what it tries and ends up being a C to D over all. Constantine is pretty pure hell/angel noir and very good. It's pure in it's attempt and generally a firm enough story with good set pieces.
