The original Frasier is a top 5 favorite show of all time for me, but the reboot shouldn't have gone forward if they couldn't get David Hyde Pierce in a starring role. John Mahoney dying can't be helped, but the reboot MIGHT have succeeded if it was only missing one of the Crane men. 2 missing isn't salvageable.

It was good but the hackneyed strained relationship between frasier and freddie to mimic frasier and martin's was so so.
