Anyone else think he wasn’t bad in the mask movie? He was also a rapper and put an album out.

>>224050260I actually do and trick or treated tonight and I’m 32

>>224050583Have you even gave it a watch recently?
>>224050592>recentlyI only ever saw bits of it if it was on someone elses tv when it came out on video because I don't watch garbage.
>>224050776Thanks for your service Siskel
>>224049832Malibu's Most Wanted is pretty funny
In retrospect, Le Fils du Mask may be the better movie. It's got higher budget, grander scale, it's less cynical, it has less demoralizing sexual tones, it's got a more pleasing colour palette, it looks better in black & white, and it's a thousand times funnier whether by intention or not. Now that I think of it, it may even be better than Freddy Got Fingered. You're welcome, by the way, because I started this meme.

I wonder how blacks reacted when a Jim Carrey stole the spotlight on their sketch comedy show?
>>224052095Jim Carey was Tupacs fave comedy actor.
>>224052095I'm not black, but his acting on that show was forced. I prefer the subtle stoicism of Homie the Clown. I feel like Jim Carrey was better as a dramatic actor.
the issue with the movie was that it was mostly about the cgi baby and dog
>>224049832>This is the part where you dance! This is the part where you boogie!I wish I said this in front of the school at assembly that would be really cool
>>224052121They like over the top faces and characters. He was playing towards his audience
>>224052162I will say, his PeeWee impression was perfect.
>>224052132The issue was bad directing from someone trying to copy the original Mask but the guy clearly just liked the silly elements and doesn't understand how the movie works.Mask used silly closeup shots where the Mask breaks the fourth wall sparingly. This guys sees it and goes DUDE EVERY SHOT NEEDS TO BE LIKE THATOriginal had a few shots that are all CGI, sparingly showing off the new CGI technology that was ground breaking at the time. Guy sees that and goes DUDE CGI BABY CGI DOG, THEY LOVED THE CGIThe original Mask actually has quiet and serious moments, it's filmed like a real movie and the silliness is brought in by the Mask warping reality
>>224052095>>224052121They loved him but Damon Wayans was the one they loved most and he would have been a superstar if he wasn’t so into the weird religious shit the rest of the family stopped caring about
>>224052220If you're one of those people who cringes at Jesus but is a superfan of Hollywood celebrities I don't quite care what your opinion is.
How did this unfunny douche ever become famoushttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITBfwhp8XMY
>>224052254He's hilarious. That's a good standup routine, too. I remember one joke almost verbatim:>It's getting crazy these days. I was walking around at the mall, and this little black kid came up to me.>He said, "AY! I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU I DIDN'T WANNA SEE YO ASS IN FRONT OF THE BABY GAP NO MO!"
>>224052254He got cast in Scream and Scream blew up. He was good in Scream.Leveraged his Scream fame to get more roles and comedy gigs. I really don't think he was ever famous outside of Scream. His entire career is just him trying to make himself into a big name and it not working. He was given chances and opportunities and it never went anywhere. He is Pauly Shore-tier. The kind of person who only had value to be typecast as a young guy who smokes weed and looks like a friendly guy.
>>224052239No I just mean he wasn’t in the scary movie movies with his family because of religion, I believe Jehovah Witness, and probably stopped him from doing more stuff. Like My Wife And Kids never had any holiday episodes because of that.

jamie kennedys raps, what do you think?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJXNkbfIg1A
>>224052220No one black talks about Jim Carrey though and he seems pretty entrenched in “white culture”
>>224052346I feel like this is a good layout of why normies hate Jamie Kennedy. He isn't some morally bankrupt gigaraped drugspinned freak with major bogging like almost every major celebrity. He's just a guy who got by being mostly pleasant. Weirdly enough these are a lot of the reasons people shit on other randoms like Tom Green, Zack Snyder, pre-Marvel RDJ, etc. 90% of the time it's something like, "He makes me uncomfortable because he's normal." Then that same person will slurp up whatever nasty dogshit is spewed onto their plate by media companies. I'm not saying any of these people are particularly avant garde, but that their moral and mental centeredness seems to be what upsets people. Man, the goyim can be sick.
>>224052430black people love jim carrey, he’s one of those “invited to the cookout” white people
>>224052346Pauly Shore was way more successful, bad analogy. Jamie Kennedy is like Vanilla Ice, a one hit wonder that faded into obscurity
>>224052360I don't see what's so weird about it. He's passionate about his philosophy without shoving it down people's throats and he draws the line at things he disagrees with. That just sounds reasonable.
>>224052476Jamie Kennedy is a lot more talented, charismatic, and intelligent than Vanilla Ice. Give credit where it's due, man. The guy is schway.
>>224049832his performance was too good to be true
The jews are mad this is a well-received organic thread so they upped the late night spam
>>224052484because it’s out of the norm and no one else in his family seems to be like that
>>224052759You're right anon. He should be sucking cock and bogging and doing soda commercials for investors. He's so icky for not being a spineless limpdick with no morals.
>>224052795I love Damon Wayans. He’s my favorite of them. He’s just religious in a way I don’t understand.
>>224053014The only real way to be religious is having a personal relationship with God and defining such based on what you feel within. If religion to you is based on mediators and adhering to populism you're mistaken. I'm sorry, anon.
