Update: I have stopped watching this show and I have returned to The Terminal List.

I like the show. But it is amazing how, even back then, the indian man feels immediately out of place, completely, and how his presence instantly makes the show worse, every time he's on screen, and how unlikeable, unwanted, alien, and unusual he is.
