What's funny is that Tosh.0 is a blatant rip-off of The Soup, which was hosted by Joel McHale. Then Daniel Tosh went on to be the host of a reality game show called "The GOAT", which was a blatant rip-off of "House of Villains", also hosted by Joel McHale. Might be a coincidence but it's weird that his two most popular shows are the generic brand versions of something done by Joel McHale.

>>224049971I couldn't give you a vivid account because I have a horrible memory. we were told to get there early, ended up waiting for at least am hour outside a nondescript brick building where they filmed the show in culver city. they filed us all in and some lady would grab people and tell them where they would be sitting, probably putting younger and more attractive people in the seats where a camera might be pointed if and when they cut to the audience to film reactions. the studio was very small, smaller than the couple of sitcom tapings I had been to, there weren't that many people in the audience. warmup guy comes out and kind of explains how they shoot the show, what and what not to do, but he wasn't like a normal warmup guy, like a comedian like they use with sitcoms, he was just some random producer. tosh comes out and doesn't really talk to the audience. the shoot took over two hours. he did lots of retakes, if he flubbed a line or didn't like his delivery. i believe there was a small break when you could go to the restroom or go outside and smoke or something but you could not get up once they started filming. I remember it wasn't supposed to be the deez nuts guy but some meme eceleb like they used to have on but for one reason or another they rescheduled his segment for another episode. other than the deez nuts guy, I can't remember any of the videos or bits they showed. the only other thing I vaguely recall was tosh grilling hotdogs on a grill at the end.
