>the good guys are actually bad>the bad guys(girls) are actually goodwoah. so original. I've never seen that. like ever.good movie though
youre right. if a trope has ever been used before in any film in history it should never ever be reused
>>224041185I'm 44 minutes in and the black detective is talking down to spiderman just because he launched scorpion and hit a cop car by mistake.I mean, wtf, what do they expect? They're fighting against supervillains.I swear these movies talk down to the superhero in some sort of talking down to the audience attempt. Also I wish we could have a movie where the guy loses the girl but then he just gets an hotter girl. Nothing against girls but pushing oneitis rhetoric in 2026 is too much. Should've stopped in 2006 to be honest
>>224042925yeah I liked the movie well enough but it would have been a lot better if they had the balls to ditch Zendaya's character entirely. bringing her back undercut the movie's own themes. Peter needs to let go and move on. I hope they see how popular the PeterxJean ship is and go in that direction. or fuck it, introduce Black Cat or something.
>>224042983they'll never will. The problem is that it's not gonna be a thing in movies, ever. Things are stale.
>>224042925it's so the jiggaboo can be seen to have the whip hand over the white manthe film/character/story doesn't matter, it's just the delivery method for the brainwashing and propaganda.
>>224042925also notice they NEVER have a bystander overhear it and tell the groid to shut the fuck up and defend spiderman or whoever like you might have seen in old films
>>224043038at this point it's so ingrained I don't even think they do it on purpose>>224043056lol that would be great
>>224041185Remember that marvel movie where the white protagonist named Peter is desperately in love with a light skinned black woman who has no memory of him? Oh yeah. It was called Guardians of the Galaxy 3
>>224042925>I mean, wtf, what do they expect? They're fighting against supervillains.Vigilantes and superheroes are generally not allowed to operate indepdently with no government oversight at this point in the MCU timeline. Spiderman is only allowed to do so because he has an exceptionally clean record for cooperating with the cops and causing minimal collateral damage. That dynamic does not work if Spiderman becomes as reckless as other superheroes, and if he starts blowing up cop cars while solving car. The detective was not talking down to Spiderman, she was genuinely concerned because his recent actions were endangering his position.>>224042983>it would have been a lot better if they had the balls to ditch Zendaya's character entirelyAbsolutely. The main writer of the movie even talks about how it's time for Peter to move on already. But Tom Holland and Zendaya recently got married, so I'm pretty sure they're going to force their characters back together even though it shouldn't happen. The movie in general is a bit of a scam, when you look at it in retrospect. It's a "brand new day" that promises a fresh new direction for Spider-Man, but once the credits roll you realize the movie has kind of discarded all the ways it could go towards an interesting future, and instead starts reverting everything back to the same dynamics that made the first three movies so mediocre. (The Ned and MJ show, guest starring Peter.)
the girl is a cutie, I understand why there were 10000x thread a day about her
>Spider Man cucked left and right by every female character>$2.5 billionThere's no hope is there
>>224043987She's really not. She looks like Chucky once he starts becoming more human.
>>224043987Nah, she has that Stranger Things stench.
>>224044469redhead didn't cuck him
>>224045103she girl bossed him the full movie which is basically the same thing
>>224041432it's such a boring trope though, moreover because it was done without any nuance or interesting variance, literally just good = bad + bad = good
>>224042925>pushing oneitis rhetoric in 2026 is too muchthisif Peter doesn't kiss Jean in the next movie I'm going to KILL myself
>>224041185This movie would've actually been interesting if it left this disgusting creature in the previous trilogy, and gave zero screentime to MJ because this version of MJ is probably the most sleep-inducing boring fictional character I've ever seen.Spiderman's new teammates should be the Punisher and Jean for the whole new trilogy, and that's what we deserve. Not two more movies of this creature and MJ.
>>224047092it was the best spider-man from marvel, and it was the one when baldie and zendaya had less screen time.
>>224041185next movie should be about venom and black cat so he can ditch MJ for a blonde hottie after getting taken over by the symbiote
>what if spider-man villains were 1 second cameos
>>224042925>I'm 44 minutes inThis fucking board.
>>224041185Damage control has been antagonistic in all mcu spiderman movies.
>>224045954He beat her ass then saved her (damsel).
>>224044545>>She's really hot.Thanks, anon. :D
Jean Grey is unironically one of the most evil villains in the MCU>murdering people, stripping away their autonomy, invading their privacy to such an extent that you are invading their minds, sexually violating people, and laughing about every minute of it>retards will defend this because "she was looking for her sister"If she actually wanted to find out about her sister, all she would have to do is possess one person, get them to wait a bit outside of Damage Control HQ, then posses someone leaving it, read their thoughts to understand who's in charge, then wait for that person to leave and possess him where you can then learn what happenedPossessing an old woman, getting her to drive a tank into a prison, then detonating the tank is a ludicrously retarded ideaJean deserved the bullet that Punisher sent her way
>>224048128Did we watch the same film?Only cool part was the fight against the hulk witch only lasted for a single 10-15 mins insane
>>224050229>Jean deserved the bullet that Punisher sent her wayno, I can fix her.
bump
>>224041185But the good guys actually were bad. People keep complaining that damage control were only arresting dangerous telepaths but they didn’t actually care about public safety, they just wanted to appropriate mutant powers for their own benefit
>>224051968Wasn't that shit started by Stark?
>>224050947>Pean>JeterDoomed ship.
>>224053334>Peey>JerkerYeah, there is no way this could work
>>224053334>>224053372Just give it one of those fun names like PsychicSpider or something
>Peter Parker x Jean GrayCringe>Peter Parker x The PunisherBASED!
