>gets completely ignored by Marvel because it's not an interracial pairing or comic-accurate
>>
Or maybe she's just mid even for a red head and everyone but you can figure that out, shit-in.
>>
>>224037937
There was nothing sexual about their relationship. No sexual tension whatsoever. You people suck at reading the room, which is why there's all those incel seethe threads.

>He's been mentally checked out of the MCU since Infinity War? Doesn't care anymore?
>Release a good Spider-Man movie, and create a strong foundation for a genuinely compelling relationship between Spider-Man and Jean Grey.
>He's emotionally invested again? Good.
>Now never meaningfully follow up on this pairing again, and continue releasing mediocre movies.
>Also reset the continuity/universe too just in case.

Relationships between a man and a woman don't need to be sexual to be compelling.
>>
>>224038136
This board is full of actual autists. Exhibit A:>>224038246
This film sucked, the two had no chemistry. She had more chemistry with Peter’s Aunt.

>>He's been mentally checked out of the MCU since Infinity War?
You mean Endgame which was also fucking fantastic.
>>
>>224038406
Eh. It was decent but Infinity War was way better. All the timetravel/multiverse shit introduced in Endgame was a mistake.
>>
>>224038501
They're both borderline unwatchable. Whedon did a much better job, even having terrible shit like that flying truck trailer zoom in Age of Ultron. The Russos are sauceless hacks.
>>
Lot of angry troops itt
>>
>>224038525
Kek what. Whedon's stuff feels like a cheap TV series made on a stringshoe budget now. Especially the 2012 movie.
>>
>>224038586
Not really, no. The Russos rely heavily on generic green screen environments you'd find in a middling Netflix production and compositing actors into an image when they didn't even share a room filming. Seriously, re-watch those Whedon flicks and tell me again they aren't better than Russoshit.
>>
>>224037937
wtf does this even mean? how are they being ignored?
>>
>>224038933
>how are they being ignored?
It's not going to amount to anything and the two characters will likely never meet again apart from maybe a quick hello in some big teamup movie.

Spider-Man has his own isolated movie continuity that's mainly controlled by Sony, and the core ethos of those movies is Spider-Man being an eternal manchild who's not allowed to move on from his designated high school friends. That is the status quo that'll never change. Any other characters like Jean only show up briefly as guests or visitors, because making them stay would shake up the status quo and the writers don't want to do that.

As for Jean, she exists in another movie continuity mainly controlled by Disney/Marvel that exists separately from the Sony continuity. Disney/Marvel have made the decision to try and follow the comics in terms of Jean, which means she won't appear in Spiderman stories and will most likely be paired up with Scott Summers, her love interest from the comics. (This is why the new Spider-Man movie is weird, because it takes the comic foundation of how Jean and Scott became close with each other and bonded over their shared grief, except it put Spider-Man in Scott's position.)

I don't care what anyone says, SpiderPhoenix is gigakino. So of course it will unfortunately never become canon just like Malfoid will unfortunately never become canon.

I want to squeeze her face like a pimple

Im.glad that you dont get what you want.
>>
>>224040320
>just like Malfoid
I've noticed that the main link between Malfoid and Peter/Jean is the fact that the protagonist's canon love interest (Ginny, Zendaya MJ) is so bland and uninteresting that nearly everyone would rather see the protagonist paired up with anyone else, even a (former) antagonist or rival.

You're right and SpiderPhoenix is thematically similar to Malfoid in other ways too. Furthermore, SpiderPhoenix and Malfoid both arose this year. It seems like the 'rivals/enemies to lovers' trope achieved mainstream popularity this year.
>>
>>224037937
Peter should have been allowed to move on MJ. Bro spent four years watching her live her life blissfully without him. Then when the truth comes out, she pulls the same shit the black gf in Invincible does.
>>
>>224042661
Zendaya is too popular with normie women, so she must be forced into the story even when it doesnt make sense
>>
>>224038279
so did you, faggot
>>
>>224038136
This has nothing to do with being "sexual". I think you're the only incel seething.
>>
>>224043843
no she isn't. nobody cares about negrodaya.
>>
>>224044942
You'd be surprised, sadly.
>>
>>224044977
Not really. Negrodaya is just a plant. No fans or talent behind.
