I fell asleep watching the first one. Is the 2nd one any better?
>>224037313Well duh, theyre Denis Villnueve films
Watched 40 mins of part 1Bored to deathDidn't care about part 2
>>224037313Name one movie made in the last 10 years that had any cultural impact
>>224037433Obsession
>>224037313What's even the point of these movies?Friendship?NoBrotherhoods?NoFamily?NoHonor?NoIt's just super superficial and dull and souless
>>224037313>do generic "flat" apple type aesthetic>mogged eternally by David Lynch
>>224037472a true king
>>224037313>Zero cultural impactOh yeah? Then explain this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQDInDXev
I saw only the first 15 minutes of the first movie and it felt like an hour, so I turned it off.
>>224037433Unironically, Avengers Endgame.Like it or hate it, you cant deny that it left its cultural impact.
I feel like half of the posts ITT are OP talking to himself
>>224037313They’re not good films. Simple as that.>>224038244I deny it. Even the people who liked it on release look back and wonder what they were thinking.
>>224038255There is an absolutely insane anti Villeneuve guy. We used to have amazing discussions about both Blade Runner movies, influences, themes, genres. It became impossible. Somebody thinks is Ager, some another autist.
>>224037313leave these adaptations to the literal minded nerds. the patricians will always have the Lynch version.
>>224038255I feel like that it almost all threads nowadays, especially after poster count got removed
>>224037313totally just like Avatar
Chalamet and Zendubu are constantly breaking character in these films and slip into contemporary slang.
>>224038548Avatar 1 mogged tf out of these garbages
>>224037313I hate to agree. It's at least extremely boring in every aspect of it
