I swear movies in the 70s and 80s had better pacing DESPITE the fact that they often spend 10 minutes without much happening. they still find a way to hook you into the visual story-telling whereas newer movies just have these disjointed sequences of boring crap wasting your time.

I cannot identify a good movie by the poster as good movies also have awful posters usually.
