If you go to jail in a white area, it is like living in a high school locker room all day. Yeah it kind of sucks, but you just sit around watching tv and playing cards and shit. It’s not that awful of a time. If you go in a black area, blacks will be in there for 90 day sentences and are willing to do stupid/violent things that get them years in prison. Look at the season that had the Puerto Rican guy that did 10 years in Rikers Island. He took over the entire dorm immediately because the low risk tiers in jail are just a bunch of dumbass teenagers, drunks, addicts, and mental illness.

Fun fact: Jamey Noel, the sheriff of Clark County, Indiana from seasons 1 & 2 is currently serving a 15 year prison sentence for corruption and embezzlement charges.He cried like a bitch during sentencing.
