King Kong, extended or not, doesn't feel as long as it is.
It's genuinely a fantastic movie. It's a slow start, but once they reach the island around the first hour, it's pure kino til the credits roll

Youre right. It's paced too quickly which is why the extended version is the definitive version of one of the greatest kinos of all time.
