I started this with my boomer dad and we got to the end of Season 1, this show is hilarious. First time I've seen a TV series outstrip the movie it was based on.
>>224029140Too bad it progressively becomes more and more about the unfunny fat goblin spic.
>what if vampires were, uhm, LE WHACKYsuch a rich seam of comedic material, Taika is a modern-day Grocho Marx.
Funny show, but it would have been better if it stuck to an episodic format. In the first season there was some college girl that was turned into a vampire and just dropped from the show. By the time they had the talking doll and the baby Colin Robinson I gave up.
>>224029156Season 3 felt ponderous at times, but Season 2 was pure gold. The episode where Colin got a promotion had me howling.
>>224029140The show started off so good. By the end it forgot to lean into what made it great in the first place.Colin is GOD
>>224029213>>224029188>shallow joke gets old>attribute it to a decline in quality instead of just the joke being limited in its potentialmidwit comedy fans be like
>>224029198Brain Scramblies was great too.
>>224029188The doll was my favorite character. Severly underutilized
>>224029140stop watching after S2
>>224029198Yeah that is probably my favorite episode. Colin and Lazio become criminally underused in the later season. I won't spoil it for OP but the entire plot revolving around those two was poor and felt like a forced pairing. Actually Nadia too, all victims of the unfunny goblin.p being given the most screen time.
>>224029140It's actually wild just how bad the movie was, I'm surprised it got greenlit as a TV series.
>>224029233Common mistake, I don't blame you. Just because you have limited vision doesn't mean you should dismiss it. Potential isn't seen be everyone.
>>224029322Shut up coon.
>>224029140Colin Robinson is my favorite vampire in fiction
>>224029483When they replaced half the writing stuff with women in S3, they literally ended up just having Colin fart to make people uncomfortable
