I really like how they stylized the CG to have this weird stylized feel like the book illustrations looked, it made the effects blend really well compared to if they went with a generic real look

I will never get over how they turned Jumanji from a dark fantasy borderline horror into zoomerslop with the rock and kevin hart.

It's one of my favorite childhood movies and I think it's underrated. I'm not going to say it's a seminal immortal masterpiece of epic proportions and I'm far from being a trite old good new bad guy but there's a cinematic quality and sense of craftsmanship and wonder to this movie that just doesn't occur anymore these days. All for a Robin Williams children's flick.

As a kid I was disappointed because I thought the jungle was going to take over the entire town. Instead we just got some (kino) cgi monkeys and a couple of vines that hilariously grabbed some people.

I loved this movie growing up. Haven’t seen it since but it left such an impression on me. Gotta love Robbin Williams in an action role.

Anyone else remember getting the board game when they actually released it but it was so disappointing that they didn't make it look more like the movie version? Like yeah obviously you can't make the pieces move and the screen do the glowing text with 1995 technology but god damn you could have put more effort into the actual design.
