I just couldn't get into the shield
I don't like shows where every character is an unrepentant asshole with zero redeeming qualities
the sopranos at least had heavy amounts of black comedy and you empathized with everyone

Did you make it past episodes 1 or ?
I almost dropped it there myself, but it picks up so hard later on, it's one of my favorite shows now.
But at the end of the day, you're entitled to your own taste, it's a grim and gritty show.
