Having seen both seasons recently, it's very clear the second one is better. David from season one is a nonsensical character, the romance with Lucy is entirely carried by her attractiveness and headcanon what could be, and the story as a whole is depressing. Season two has a much stronger cast of characters, the corpo background plot has more personality, and the story is life-affirming rather than hopeless. Roman, Talia, and Weak, unlike Lucy, not being at the end of their rope, makes for a way more enjoyable conclusion.
