I've never understood this meme- tv's are like $300 now, this isn't the 1950s where they're like the 4th most expensive thing you own. And even a used macbook is like $900- that's significantly more expensive. Who is this mythical person who can afford a laptop, which is much more expensive, but somehow not a television, which honestly you could probably get for free on facebook marketplace?
