From NASA:Today we are at a great loss. Today a black hole of gaping proportions has consumed our being. One of our most trusted and humble of fellow citizens has left this planet and left us all in his cosmic dust. With heavy hearts we must report that, Houston, we have a problem... Legendary actor, loyal 33rd degree freemason initiated at the Grand Lodge free and accepted masons of Alabama lodge #864, USAF test pilot, and Apollo 11 crew member lieutenant Edwin “BUZZ” Aldrin Jr. has died. A pioneer and visionary, Buzz had a lifelong bout with alcohol, even admitting to throwing back a few cocktails only a few days prior to the historic mission. The weight of carrying such a monstrous lie around all the time must have weighed heavy on him… It would’ve weighed heavy on us all. But BUZZ had power and strength of an almost inhuman nature..Buzz carried that load, like Jesus carrying his cross to Golgotha. Though it would be Buzz to dutifully continue on that great work that Jesus Christ himself was intellectually incapable of furthering..that’s the kind of work BUZZ did. He was the Hero of Heroes. We lost one of our own, one of our very best. We will miss you, BUZZ.. to infinity.. AND BEYOND!
