Do you think cinema reached its peak as an art form? If so, when did it do so for you?
>>224008443its stifled right now, that's for sure. something should give, eventually, if there's any innovators left out there who find a way to get past the gatekeepershttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pov0MKuyJfg&ra=m
>>224008443Cinema peaked in 1995TV peaked around 2000-2001
>>224008689Actually cinema in 2001, TV in 1995.
>>224008443Filmmaking is a national art form since it takes an industry to make even a small movie. America is basically gone as a country so there's no talent capable of making decent movies anymore. Gen X talent minimal at best and the Millennials weren't allowed into the industry to begin with, at least if they were White.Peaked? Yeah. Probably with Gone With the Wind or Lawrence of Arabia or something, not the industrialized slop that dominated Hollywood started in the 80s and has lasted til today.
>>224008825The more you look at it the more you realize it's like the Yng and the Yang.
>>224008689>>224009372both wrong.Cinema peaked in 1999TV was never good
>>224008443Not even close. How little imagination must you have to claim otherwise?
>>224009463>Lawrence of ArabiaPure mediocrity.
