So I was wondering where the fuck the budget for the Lanterns TV show went considering it has very little actual CGI or fight sequences. The CGI that is there is mostly pretty basic stuff that an amateur could do on their own in after effects.So, I went looking and you will not believe the fucking stupidity of these showrunners. Take a guess. Think of the dumbest, stupidest idea you could conceive of. It's worse than that.These retards spent their CGI budget on completely changing the backdrop of basically every single outdoor shot. Why? Because the series is mostly set in rural Nebraska. And they filmed in California. Let that sink in. The reason there are like 3 green lantern constructs in the show is because they couldn't afford any more. Because they wrote their story to be set in nebraska, then chose to film it in California.I genuinely have never seen such a bafflingly stupid series of decisions in my life. What the fuck is going on in DC that they're allowing this sort of obvious malpractice?If you don't believe me there's an article about it on a site called television academy.
