Amazing animation. Genuinely unpleasant. I'm glad I watched it but I didn't process it as a story, more like a vibey dream.
>>223988628it really shits the bed in the third act but 10/10 when it comes to the atmosphere it establishes, the heavily stylized aesthetics, the amount of painstaking artistry displayed; you can really tell it was a labor of love. really dope looking monstrous creatures and events, some of it very uncomfortable to witness and contemplate what those characters experience in the reality of their fiction, imagining what it's like to occupy space in those world of horrors and having to endure and be subjected to it.10/10 style, but it doesn't stick the landing and doesn't feel complete and a bit directionless, and leaves the viewer feeling unsatisfied, but it starts off great and is a visual feast, but will ultimately end up disappointing, especially when it starts off so interesting.
Biggest problem is it is way too long without justifying the length.A lot of filler time.

Claymation is dogshit. Torture porn is dogshit. I can't think of a worse combination of genres.
