OP is a zoomer. Millenials don’t care about zoomer opinions in any way.

i was a child when the prequels came out so i liked them

All generations have lost interest in talking about Star Wars nowadays
>>
>>223987303
Zoomers really have an inaccurate preception of what millenials think and do.

>>223987725

>>
There's a cultural problem
Zoomers think millennials have Gen x opinions
Millennials assume all zoomers are Gen alpha
Being next door neighbors is hard.
>>
>>223987747
Boomers binded together to take control and power of everything which they still hold to this day
Gen X was trying to find purpose by becoming moody and rebellious before eventually settling into a middle class lifestyle
Millenials had a moment where they could've stood up against the system after the Great Recession with Occupy Wall Street but eventually the media hijacked their brains into becoming SJWs with Kony 2012 and Black Lives Matter. They then spent the entire decade pushing cancel culture and wokeness while their future got robbed. Notice how they stopped doing that now after realizing just how fucked their economic situation is while they're in their 40s
>>
>>223987826
Every boomer I know is more of a blm activist than any millenial I know. They just got their financial safety net before the fall
>>
Millennials are divided between millennials who saw the remastered Star Wars when they were 12 and the millennials who saw the prequels when they were 12. Those who actually enjoyed the prequels and thought Jar Jar Binks was the shit are the most cringe soiboys imaginable, they were the ones ahegaoing at the Jar Jar Abrams """"star wars"""" trailers.
>>
>>223987303
General X and boomers who didn't understand them hated the prequels. Millenials not poisoned by the redletter media smear psy op and zoomers tend to enjoy the prequels and recognize them as the flawed masterpieces that they are. Gen X seethes the most against them because they wanted it to be Empire Strikes Back 2.0.
>>
>>223988192
These movies had a backlash long before the red letter media review, the first of which was 2009
>>
>>223987725
The uprising of sjws was brought on by the oldest zoomers you dumb faggot. By 2015 all the millineals were already off of college campus and in the work force. Then the architects for the uglification of women and gay shit in media were gen xers. Plenty of faggot millineals but they weren't the ones that were in positions to guide the cultural storm.

The other stuff is kind of right.

>>223987303
>>223988209

These movies especially the first one was made for the youngest millineals. It's just now people in their early 30s are coming back and saying how much they liked these movies when they were younger.
>>
>>223987652
I’ve noticed that zoomers do this thing where they’ll take IPs and trends that were better/more popular in the 90’s and 00’s than they are today like Star Wars, Pokemon, anime, etc. and try to claim that millennials always hated those things. It’s like they’re envious that millennials had cool childhoods pre-9/11, so they want to steal all the fun stuff we had and make it “theirs.” They can’t just appreciate that they’re privileged enough to live in a time when older movies, music, TV shows, and vidya are more accessible than at any other point in history while other previous generations struggled to access a lot of the media they take for granted.
>>
>>223987303
I am fucking tired of this prequel revisionism, they sucked then and they suck now
Grow the fuck up already
>>
>>223988425
Worth noting too that when it comes to video games and even Movies/TV shows and books that Zoomers often consoom them via either youtubers, twitch streamers or tiktok edits and wiki skimming.

They also become enraged if you tell them that doesn't mean you actually experienced those.
>>
>>223987303
Those who hated the most were Boomers and Gen X. Millenials were the target audience and they enjoyed both the movies and cartoons happening during the Prequels timeline. That Zoombah's brain fried from too much TikTok.
>>
>>223988331
>The uprising of sjws was brought on by the oldest zoomers you dumb faggot.
Why are you lying?
>>
>>223988505
What is it about gen x that people ignore their existence? They've done so much faggot shit and millineals get the blame
>>
>>223988499
And yet not a single zoomer has ever heard of twisted metal. Something about that IP is Z proof
>>
>>223988618
Gen X are parents of the Gen Z. And majority of them were good parents, unlike Boomers.
>>
>>223987303
We watched them but didn't think much of them. Obviously they aren't as good as the originals, they didn't live up to them.
Anakin is cringe, that's true and not made up. Jar Jar is annoying, that's not made up. Mace Windu is boring and does nothing. They're very forgettable.

The best parts of any of them are the lightsaber duels. If Darth Maul wasn't in episode 1 the franchise might've literally died.
>>
>>223988146
I was 12 when TPM came out in theatres. Jar Jar sucked, podracing and darth maul was the shit.

That is all.
>>
>>223987303
That applies just as much to the original trilogy and everybody loves that
>>
It was gen x who hated these movies not millennials. I'm in my 30s and Episode 3 is my favourite Star Wars movie.
>>
>>223988601
I told you what happened, all those epic sjw owns on college campuses were zoomers saying retarded shit. This trend started in 2015 and as I said millineals are at the start of their careers at this point, very few had influence on anything.

I was in high school when ROTS came out and every nerd was into Star Wars, Halo, and LOTR back then. As teenagers we did have mixed opinions on the prequels, but everyone still liked Star Wars as a multimedia franchise because it was like the golden era of Star Wars vidya.
>>
>>223988873
People can hate the prequels all they want. But it didn't destroy the legacy like the sequel trilogy did where it upset everyone. They couldn't even pull through to make nigs happy by making finn more interesting because the Chinese hated him

Of course there are some of those, but that's like thinking all zoomers are broccoli headed skinnyfat failed twinks who aspire to be tiktok influencers and speak like twitter nogs.

>>223988938
George Lucas walked away from the franchise after talking about how he wouldn’t make anymore due to how much people hated the prequels, Ewan McGregor has said younger people are nice about them now but for years they were mocked and insulted, Natalie Portman said they nearly ended her career, Jake Lloyd went insane and Ahmed Best nearly killed himself
>>
>>223987303
This guy is a retard. The original Star Wars trilogy didn’t do any ironic winking to camera and those movies are cemented in film history. Millennials hated the prequels because George Lucas is a shit writer and Star Wars was good in spite of him rather than because of him.

>>
>>223988970
The people who viscerally hated the prequels at that time were primarily 30-year-old zoomer manchildren, not millennials. The sequel trilogy was so awful because it was made by a bunch of xoomers like JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson who had spent two decades seething about how George Lucas “ruined” their childhoods.

Most millennials were children. The people who cared about Star Wars and who were old enough to have their voices heard when the prequels started releasing would have been boomers, Gen Xers, and only the absolute oldest of millennials. Most millennials were in middle school or elementary school when Episode I came out and were still riding high on the wave of the recent Star Wars hype, be it from watching VHS rereleases of the movies or playing stuff like Shadows of the Empire or Tie Fighter. To most of them it would have just been new Star Wars stuff. Maybe some kids thought JarJar was more stupid than funny, but I doubt many hated the whole movie as a result.
They might have hated them when they grew up, sure. But most of the of-the-time vocal hatred would, by default, have been coming from Gen X and boomers.

The literally don't know who they're talking about because they're chronologically illiterate.
If they're lucky they might be able to identify someone like Pewdiepie because they saw him on Youtube when they were kids (he was playing a character and making content for kids).

>They universally seem to think "millennials" are their annoying teacher from high school who is in his 50's now
No one thinks that. Majority of Gen Z is in their late 20s right now.

How Zoomers see Millennials is what Millennials exactly are:
>fat
>bald
>neckbeards with pubes on their face to hide how fat they really are
>numales

>obsessed about capeshit

You can go on. No one actually sees you as an enemy or opponents, we're just disgusted by you and pity you.
>>
>>223987767
I know exactly who Zoomers are, cause I'm like three years older than they are. They're the annoying little brothers of the world, to me.
They're the people who throw a tantrum whenever I say Sonic 06 isn't a very good game, just because they had it when they were 10.
>>
>>223988618
Gen x wrote the articles blaming everything on millenials. They’re not going to write articles about themselves unless it’s saying something good. They also talk a lot of shit about zoomers. The ones at work are constantly going on about how shit the young guys are now. Honestly I think zoomers are alright, at least the ones in my field. They’re quiet but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

Yes, but you're still mentally picturing some 40-something guy you hated, when you were in highschool.

>>
>>223989366
>The literally don't know who they're talking about because they're chronologically illiterate.
Reminds me of how zoomers get their minds blown by historical trivia like the fact that Cleopatra lived closer to the present day than to when the Egyptian Pyramids were built. They lack a proper chronological understanding of anything that happened before they were born.
>>
>>223987303
As usualy the braindead zoomers are stealing millennial culture while blaming millennials for shit gen x and boomers did. In this case millennials have always defended the prequels against the shitstorm it received from boomers and especially gen x. Mike Stoklasa, for example, is a gen xer born in 78. Boomers and zoomers are the dumbest generations on the planet right now. Gen X and millennials also have a large amount of idiots but still have more non-retards than boombers/zoomers.
>>
The prequels will be remembered 100 years from now, along with the Clone Wars TV series. It will be considered the epitome of "Star Wars", with the OT only acting as "proto-star wars", and almost everything else seen as false imitations.

People in the future will be flabbergasted that these were made pre-AI, in the 2000's and were largely overlooked. "Way before their time" will be a common trope thrown around when people talk about the prequels.

They are an example of incredibly novel, sincere and earnest artwork that takes place in a truly bespoke and thick imaginary world. You could even regards the prequels as, yes this is a stretch but as far as application goes 100% accurate, "Outsider art". It broke nearly all conventions, undermined the cultural zeitgeist and existed as a pure machination of 1 auteur.

It upsets me greatly that there is almost no one that truly sees these movies for what they are. Even the fan boys are wrong in almost all aspects and variations by which they try to praise these movies.

Time will prove me correct. People will echo me.
>>
>>223989566
>along with the Clone Wars TV series

>>
>>223989544
Most of what you said is accurate but
>millennials have always defended the prequels
is way off. They were divisive even among millennials
>>
>>223989591
The answer is simple. If you hated 1 and liked another, it is the one you hated that is better. This should have been easy to infer from my initial post as i claim almost everyone is wrong.
>>
>>223989616
So you're a troll and your entire spiel is meaningless.
>>
>>223987303
that's obviously bait. the original star wars films were completely earnest, too. lucas doesn't make ironic winking-at-the-camera stuff.
>>
>>223989626
I am correct, and my predictions will show that as the decades pass. The problem is peeling back through peoples preconceived notions and conclusions as to reassess something is next to impossible, let alone online on a anon image board, in an ephemeral thread that won't be here in 24hrs.
So i wouldn't bother.

My goal is to act as a waypoint of reconsideration so that when people start their own internal reevaluation of the prequels and TCW's they'll have some base points from which to grow new opinions. Ergo, the echo comment.

As an exercise, re-watch the season 3 episode, Sphere of Influence. In particular pay attention to the scene and how it builds around the 7 minute mark. Think about what kind of story is being told, how elaborate it is, how sprawling and interconnected - how its themes easily translate to the real world.
Another thing to consider, look at every detail, from stools to benches to outfits in the prequels and TCW - it is all entirely new and novel. You'll almost never see anything that links back to our modern times in the prequels/TCW. It is entirely its own world, much like Avatar - but more, as even Avatar has a lot of signally back to "modern world" times as far as the humans go.
>>
>>223988425
>Star Wars, Pokemon, anime, etc.
we also took social damage by being into those things. zoomers grew up in a time when liking all of that stuff was completely normal.

>>
>>223987303
The problem with this is that cinema at the time wasn't poisoned with quips and irony to begin with, Millenials fucking hated the prequels because they have bad writing, nonsensical plot structure, and worst of all, they're somehow boring.
>>
>>223989843
Can you give me 1 example in the prequels of "nonsensical plot structure"? Or, "bad writing"?
>>
>>223987303
Something happened to late Gen X early millennials to make them fear being earnest. My guess is their parents were the most embarrassingly unself aware boomers and tv in their formative years was nothing but sentimental sitcoms. The late Gen X/early millennial took an internal vow of sarcasm never to be as pathetic as their parents or the culture at large and this is where you get your red letter medias or Tim Heideckers. It’s a crippling emotional state, poor Tim can’t even make his earnest indie pop guitar music without singing it like it’s a joke. Same for RLM being unable to earnestly make space cop a comedy, kneecapping their intentionally bad movie by making it even worse for fear someone might think they were trying too hard. Late millennials largely escaped this (apathy, GATE brainwashing?) and enjoyed the prequels and most things in life. Their problems are more of the Reddit chungoid internet addict variety.
>>

>>
>>223987303
I really find it weird that zoomers will tell you with absolute authority about events and stuff they never personally experienced, while apeing everything about it.
I was big in the music scene and was in a fairly popular local band in the “MySpace deathcore” era. There’s a resurgence of that type of deathcore which is cool, but zoomers have told me factually wrong info, or that a “band was hated” then got rediscovered (of course by zoomers). My favorite is they’ll go into details about scene fashion but of course are wrong. I don’t really care that much but they will argue about stuff I’ve lived through. It just seems weird to me. They also have this weird obsession with also shitting on it, and complaining about how sexist the scene was of homophobic it was.

nta, but they just weren't good movies, everyone i knew growing up was raised on vhs copies of star wars and indiana jones, no one liked the star wars prequels.
they didn't have any of the grit, heart, or wit that made the first 3 so endearing.
the story was all over the place, love story, politics, the little kid self insert, angsty teen, boomer references, cliche 90s "fun" action sequences.
in general the cgi was a big point of contention as well, at that time people treated excessive cgi the way they treat AI today.
that being said, i don't know anyone that hated them, just no one gave a fuck about them.
i didn't know anyone that was hardcore star wars until they turned on the marketing machine 10-15 years ago, now i know several people with star wars tattoos.

>Can you give me 1 example in the prequels of "nonsensical plot structure"? Or, "bad writing"?
These are bad criticisms of the Prequels anyway if you've seen the behind the scenes. It was the editing that makes the prequels as stilted as they turned out. Georgie boy really needed someone to tell him he's isn't very good at it.

The war isn't the point that's the problem, the story you're being told is Darth Sidious's extremely great plan to turn Anakin Skywalker to the dark side and become the senate. The war is part of the plan but isn't really a big deal for the story being told.

Chuds are funny, they are cinematically basically illiterate so they praise some Hollywood slop for children as the peak of the medium. LotR is also a good example.

No that is the point go watch the behind the scenes about George's direction and editing, you'll understand why the movie is the way it is, some things must be experienced.

It doesn't work because Anakin transformation isn't believable. Maybe they should see him committing some war crimes. He neede the purging of stratholme moment, but that never happened.

>It doesn't work because Anakin transformation isn't believable. Maybe they should see him committing some war crimes. He neede the purging of stratholme moment, but that never happened.
That's supposed to be him killing the younglings, he can never go back after that, but my point was that seen through the lens of "sheev is succeeding" the story and the way it's told make sense narratively, which it does. That doesn't mean it couldn't be improved in a lot of places but you complained that we didn't really see much of the war itself when the war is just a step in sheev's ultimate victory, that's all I was pointing out.

Millennial here - because we did hate the prequels, and were right to do so. It's why I always laugh at faggoty, diarrhea colored meme zoomers when they try to insist that prequels were rejected because of some youtuber before youtube existed, or because everyone was old or something. I was in the 5th grade, I was a Star Wars superfan, you couldn't get more target audience than me, and TPM was garbage. There's a reason that you just see zoomfags posting the Darth Maul fight, because that's basically the only good part of the movie. Episode 3 was good, not great, but by that time people were just over it and George had lost his image as a great filmmaker.
>>
>>223987303
There are like like four types of millennials, with the ones born at the start and end of the pack being almost indistinguishable from Gen X and Gen Z. Among core millenials there are two groups, largely the ones born in the mid 80's and those born in the early 90s. When you think of avocado toast plaid shirt wearing stomp clap hey hipster start up bullshit in the 2010's, that's all on the mid 80's guys. 90's millennials didn't enter the workforce until maybe 2012, well after the recession raped their chances of home ownership, and it's this group the chudded out, voted for Trump, and is most sympathetic to zoomers.

And that's the thing George wanted it to be more of like a classical play than the action adventure of the originals. Why he wanted that to be the case is hard to pin down but for a lot of people it doesn't work well. It's why RotS is often called the "best one" because it's the closest to feeling like the originals due to each specific scene being much more action focused along with a rather relentless pace.

Harry Potter is just non-stop wish fulfillment for kids who want to have all of the money in the world and eat magic chocolate, which then takes a hard swerve into being about the holocaust at like the last second, because Rowling became insecure about what she was writing.
Harry Potter has a cast of like 30 characters, with about four of them being relevant to any part of the plot.

There wasn’t any of that in the OT and those are universally beloved movies… for Star Wars fans anyway.

They hated the prequels for confusing the straightforward plot of the original and tying too many random elements together. Like the clone wars just being Jedi vs a gorillion boba fetts. It makes the universe much smaller.

Also while the cinematography is good it does overuse cgi and the dialog is not as effective because everyone is just catering to George in the prequel era

The big thing is that Millenials as a generation are basically either late 80’s/early 90’s kids or mid 90’s-early 2000’s kids. This makes a huge difference, the example I go to is a 18 year old and an 8 year old in ‘99 were both Millennials. Their thoughts on pop culture would’ve been totally different, one was probably obsessed with Pokémon and the other thought it was gay. One was into PC games and mature PlayStation games and the other was into N64 and PS1 mascot games. One was reading Harry Potter and the other getting college textbooks.

If you saw the remastered Star Wars at 12, then you saw the Phantom Menace at 14 with a perspective on Star Wars that had shifted very little, if at all, during the two intervening years. I'm speaking from my own experience here. The 1997 Special Edition VHS was vital in creating excitement for the prequels in my generation. The Special Edition was the date-rape drug that clouded our senses and made us susceptible to the advances of the Phantom Menace. Drowsy with hype, we didn't even notice as Jar Jar had his way with us in the theatre. It was only years after the event that we found the courage to talk about the trauma, process it together in online spaces, and begin healing.

Zoomers appreciate the prequels more because they already exist in a broken society and everything else is shit. The prequels always had some good things going for them but they seem even better in hindsight compared to the garbage coming out today. It's not even specifically nostalgia goggles. The problem is in 1999 The Phantom Menace felt like a Saturday morning cartoon compared to all the edgy expanded universe stuff going on. Star Wars media was going hard in the late 90s. Zoomers wouldn't understand. Millennials never get credit for over a decade of zogbotting in GWOT. It was our vietnam and vietnam era boomers don't even acknowledge it. Most of the Millennials I know born in the early 80s are kind of based. 80s millennials always get lumped in with 90s millennials, which is really an entirely different generation. The ones born in the 90s are the shitty ones who were on tumblr and livejournal getting infected by the woke mind virus by Gen X professors. Gen X always manages to shift all blame for marxist nonsense onto everyone else. Even a lot of the hipster BS was overlap from Gen X influence.

>>
>>223987303
Elder Millennial here. The prequels fucking suck. Revenge of the Sith sucked less than the others, but Attack of the Clones was the worst Star Wars movie until Rise of Skywalker.

I'm willing to grant that there are good things about the prequels, namely how they show the fall of both the Jedi and the Galactic Republic from within and how fascists stoke fear into the hearts of the insecure to make them loyal to the fascists. But for the most part, the prequels - especially AOTC - are bad films from a storytelling perspective. Consider Phantom Menace: We're told the people of Naboo are suffering at the hands of the Trade Federation and its droid army, but we're never actually shown this suffering. We're shown two cities, one of which barely looks like it's been attacked at all despite being occupied and one of which is underwater and thus spared the droid army's attacks. We're told we should care, but we're never shown why we should care.

Anyone who thinks the prequels are well-constructed movies are stupid. That Lucas's sincerity is palpable doesn't mean he wrote good dialogue or plotted the movies well. They're bad movies with the dirt-worst dialogue in the franchise (even above the sequel trilogy) and anyone who thinks these movies were hated back in the day for being "sincere" is an idiot. I like sincerity in my storytelling - but I like good storytelling, too, and the prequels ain't it.
>>
>>224002973

>>223987303
Gen X'ers hated the prequels because it shat on their childhood memories of Ewoks and Bloop Shitto. Millennials were children when the prequels came out and mostly liked them because laser swords and spaceships. Also podracing was fuckin sweet.

>>224003787

>>
>>224003646
Yeah, pretty much. I say AOTC is the worst of the prequel trilogy, and that's because there's far less to redeem it than there is in the other two prequels. It's also got the worst dialogue and arguably the worst action scenes of the prequels. But it's still a watchable film for the most part. It's just duller than dishwater.

Compare that to Rise of Skywalker, where almost every decision from start to finish is so incomprehensibly bad that you wonder why the fuck Disney even released the film at all. Literally the only sincerely cool moment of that film was the lightsaber pass-off between Rey and Kylo at the end, and FIVE SECONDS is not enough to save a whole film full of shitty decisions made to spite both the film before it and the fans who bitched at length about that prior film.

I was 10 when I saw ep 1 in theater and I was hooked after that. Before I saw ep 1 I thought star wars was old people bullshit.

Ep 1 is still my favorite one Gen X geeks still seething

I will not stand for this Ki-Adi boomer revisionism. He stood his own against prime Grievous and in this house he's a goddamn hero.
>>
All this tells me is the people who made hating the Prequels their identity haven't learned not to take the bait
>>
Basically every generation agrees that millenials are the worst. Obese, bald fags that obsessively consume Star Wars, capeshit, video games and surface level "muh science" while the world goes to shit around them. The fact that they worship disgusting fat slobs like Joss Whedon says all you need to know about the entire generation.
>>
>>223987303
the original trilogy didn’t have that, so what in the fuck is that gay retard smoking? Other than his dogs cock. Also, yes, everyone I knew growing up, absolutely fucking hated these movies. Learning years later that the five year olds that saw it, never grew up, and are still trying to live off of their childhood nostalgia was laughably pathetic. It’s like someone being really into Sesame Street, or, My Little Ponies as an adult, truly fucking pathetic creatures.

>The uprising of sjws was brought on by the oldest zoomers you dumb faggot. By 2015 all the millineals were already off of college campus and in the work force
I was in my last year of high school in 2015, so no, sjw bullshit was spearheaded by millennials.
t. oldest zoomer
>>
>>223987303
Zoomer think Gen X are millennials

It is why they keep complaining about “millennial writing” even though it is all Gen X.

Gen X are legit so lucky. They flew under the radar and now Zoomers think they are Millennials.
>>
>>224006798
>unironically thinking that being bald and obese is a generational thing
I'm not sure you understand how human biology works.
Plus, Millennials were the ones who popularized being a health nut. They're actually less likely to smoke and eat like shit than zoomers are.
>>
>>224006937
>sjw bullshit was spearheaded by millennials
Gen X'ers were pulling this shit in the 80's and 90s, they pioneered most of the shit we complain about today along with the boomers before them.

Yes, but millennials would not have been a significant portion, t least at the time.
>>
>>224006937
SJW bullshit was glowwies deciding they had to break up all of that class solidarity that was forming around the 08 economic crisis.
I mean, they've always been there, but they used to be crazy people shouting into a void, and you used to be allowed to make fun of them. South Park had the whole Museum of Tolerance bit, and jokes about sex changes.
At some point the orders came in from above that we are not only not silencing these people anymore, but they were going to be handed every megaphone.

They would have kept making more movies
The prequel movies killed all mainstream public interest in the franchise, they were that fucking bad, kill yourself you boring subhuman faggot nigger troll

Lucas sees Star Wars as movies for twelve-year-old boys (which they are). The problem is that kids don’t actually like seeing kid characters in movies. Kids usually would rather see grown-ups doing cool stuff in novies because kids naturally look up to and try to emulate adults. It’s like how most little kids will say their favorite character from the original Star Wars movie is Obi-Wan Kenobi rather than Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia because kids always love kindly old grandfather characters.
>>
>>223987303
Millennials didn´t hate the prequels. That´s false. The prequels always felt like more SW that was not quite as good as the OT. Sure enough a lot about them was not as appreciated as it should have been but standards were different then, that level of storytelling was expected.

A lot of them grew up watching millennial YouTubers and engaging with online millennial culture, so there is definitely a big sibling/younger sibling thing going on. It's funny to see the millennial shitting going on on here of all places, since I doubt the average oldfag who still comes to 4chan bears any resemblance to the circa-2010 hipster or whiteknighting seething sőyboy varieties of millennials
>>
>>224007265
yeah, those kind of suck too.
And the Adventure games are borderline shitty, even if I do like them.
Outside of the 90's, Sonic only really survived on handhelds, and then briefly again in the 2010's.

I'm a late millennial ROTS and Anakin lover and it's pretty much that.

Pokemon was exclusively marketed to kids until Pokemon GO became a fad in 2016. It was at that point the Japs realized that there was actually a sizable adult fanbase who were willing to spend big money on collectibles rather than just parents buying toys and cards for their young kids. A large number of zoomers who are like 22-24 years old today never really experienced a time when you were seen as an autistic retard by normalfags for liking Pokemon after middle school.

I was ten when PM came out. I didn't like it. I didn't like Jar Jar, I didn't like Anakin or his actor, I didn't like how the ending was spread out between characters i didn't care for, I didn't like how Darth Maul was a mute with no personality, and I didn't care for the trade disputes when neither side was fleshed out and it was just "oriental aliens are le evil fascist arm with robots" It just didn't have the same impact of Darth Vader destroying a planet with the Death Star in A New Hope. It just felt too shallow of an antagonist outside of Palpatine.
Anyways, had George just had people to tard wrangle him much like he had for the first two movies in the trilogy, these ideas could've worked. And obviously spin off media SHOWS that they could.

You know, it's fine to say "Despite what some may think of them, I like the prequels" But just because the sequels exists, doesn't make these films "brilliant" Come the fuck on.

Around 2014 the vidya industry was trying to put lootbox gambling mechanics into games like COD and Star Wars Battlefront until they got their pee-pees smacked by government regulators. This was largely due to complaints by millennials. The vidya industry then pivoted to different predatory microtransactions like battle passes and limited-time cosmetics bundles because Fortnite was using those to make bank off zoomers. Now the vidya industry primarily caters to whales just like the gambling industry, which itself has transitioned to sports betting mobile apps as yet another way to separate zoomers from their money.
>>
>>223987303
Zoomers are made millenials grew up with the prequels and LOTR while they got the woke 10s, the sequels and Zendayacore.

They lash out by trying to usurp millenial culture even most were barely babies when those things came out, and deliberately confuse millenials with GenXers so they can justify their hatred.

Besides experiencing superior culture during childhood and adolescence, millenials are now also dating zoomer girls which further increases their hatred for the gen

It doesn't really matter when Whedon was born because he's only revered by gen x and millenials. Baby boomers, zoomers and alphas all agree he's a retarded fat homo that should be unemployed. Adults that consume capeshit and/or video games should be shunned.
