I always thought it was weird that the movie was basically a collection of prank show clips where Hitler shows up and makes a scene, and then at the end they try to make a point about fascists being seductive, or whatever. It just feels completely disconnected from the first hour or so, like you could argue that the main guy is getting seduced into thinking Hitler is his friend and he's an audience surrogate in that way, but we never get a reveal that Hitler was being duplicitous or malicious towards that guy in any way, that guy was just a wimp and a dumbass
