Do we really need a movie and two tv shows about a woman who fell in love with her vibrator?
>>
>>223965117
yes
>>
No it isn't
>>
>>223964431
/tv/ can eat shit im enjoying it. caught me off-guard since I got fatigued on comicslop a long time ago. one of the few shows in recent times that’s actually positive about family too.

does she provide rape treatments?
>>

literally the only decent part of mcu so yes westview trilogy is needed
>>

I only have two questions.
1. Is Ultron in it
2. Is his face animated, or is it static
>>
>>223965274
yes
>>
>>223965296
he’s in it, mostly has spader’a irl face for avatar but they show the classic face at times. Hes a major role in the show.
>>

crazy how she resisted the cheek sucker cult, seems like one of the few sane ones
>>

it's good because spader and bettany are good in everything they do
fridays good
the rest can pound sand, fuck you edith pizzacake ass ai
>>
>>223965400
kid who plays Tommy is honestly decent for being one of the few newbies, only a little hammy. Paladin is meh and Jocasta doesn’t interest me.
>>
>>223965432
I really wonder if they will keep how billy turned out in agatha or will they say she mess's up his entire personalty & reset it for this show

he was WAY TOO GAY compraed to how he was in Wanda vision
>>
>>223965117
Yeah if the vibrator was a tiny little man.
>>
>>223965432

paladin is great, peak c tier villain

Paul Bettany is a really good actor, imitated Spader really well

Ultron is so sexy
>>
Unless it brings Ultron back as a future threat, I don't care.
>>
>>223964431
Why is he in his penultimate form rather than his final form from AOU?
>>
>>223966476
There's a possibility that Doom recruits Ultron kind of like the way he collected Banner
>>
>>223965432
>>223965745
I forgot where I read it, but someone called him "Temu Jeffrey Dean Morgan" and ruined the character for me. It's literally how he's acting, like a bargain JDM. That mature scruffy spec ops ex military type with a pronounced midwestern attitude. I do wish they'd make him seem more competent, he gets beat up by everyone and basically gets out of every encounter by plot armor instead of actually doing it in a smart way.
>>
>>223965296
It's basically the blacklist with vision being liz
>>
>>223967001
I don't know how they plan to tie this into doom since there's only two months left isn't there?
>>
I also think this show is good.

The way i see it, this all leads to Battleworld and God Emperor Doom, which means Marvel Zombies, Annihilus, and Ultron encroaching on The Shield

Honest questions: why does ultron have that retarded ass face design. with two holes next to his mouth and weird horns covering his cheeks? Ultron looked so fucking retarded in avengers age of ultron. Why did he look like that? Wouldn’t it make more sense for him to look like an iron man suit? I saw his comic book look and he also looks retarded
>>
>>223970944
Take race out of it for a moment and it's pretty believable that Tony didn't make the AI himself. What did you think Elon Musk created Xitter?

Ultron redemption in in the final episode. Yes or no?
>>
>>223971567
He won't go with Jocasta's plan. He will make up some excuse about no more art or entertainment, but he thinks it is too cruel. He was made into a slave by Stark, then kept as a prisoner by Vision. He doesn't want his bird in a cage. I think it ends with Vision allowing Ultron to zip out into outer space.

Wanda made a vision with his memories that combined with the white vision

Yeah but not sure Vision told her Ultron code, so she would recreate it along with Vision.

Actually its about the refurbished version of the vibrator. The first one was actually about her memory of the original, damaged vibrator.

All in all its been kinda beautiful. Spader is such an amazing actor and voice that even though he appears as himself, I still see the visage of Ultron.

Absolutely ground-breaking writing to have a character go through the exact same arc over and over and over, effectively turning the character into a meme joke.

More like very small reunion.
Likely to be the B or C plot with about 6 minutes screentime. Secret Wars is focused on the major box office draw characters like the Spidermen, Wolverine, and RDoomJ.

>vision was made alive by the soul stone, but now humans replicate him without a problem because...well just because
Vision used the mind stone since there was a consciousness in the stone to help power the AI. Later they used residual chaos magic from a drone used in Wanda's hex bubble, Wandavision.

>vision kills some npc guards like a cold blooded killer without a problem, but he doesnt kill the bounty hunter and flies off(who killed his bartender) because...well just because
That was a bit odd.

>wanda made a fabricated reality and the "soul" of her two sons went to two guys before they died because...well just because
Billy Maximoff having similar magic to his mother grafted his soul on to William Kaplan while Kaplan was dying due to a car accident as the hex bubble was disintegrating. At the end of Agnes All Along he did something similar for his brother Tommy. An orphan boy, Thomas Shepherd, was drowning at a pool party and with the help of Agnes Harkness he grafted Tommy Maximoff's soul on to the dying boy so both could live just as he did with William Kaplan and himself.

>wanda in the strange movie is such a powerful being who can locate anyone across multiverses, but she can't locate her two new sons because....well just because
Tommy didn't exist until Billy made it so and Billy had a protection sigil from a divination witch in Agnes All Along to protect his identity until his mind had come to terms fully with his transition.
>>
>>223980270
>on the other hand a bounty hunter is able to locate them and vision aswell because...well just because
White Vision is not Wanda's vision so she has no connection. Until Billy manifested Tommy, Tommy didn't exist to be found. Wanda and Billy both worked off of an assumption Tommy existed. He did not. The Paladin found Vision only because Ultron gave away his location. Tommy was found through public records.

>vision is made by vibranium, the strongest stuff in the universe, but a simple vibranium shotgun is able to almost kill him because...well just because
Vibranium can't stand up to adamantium bullets since it is the hardest substance in the marvel universe.

>the almighty clever vision gives his body to a genocidal maniac because...well just because
He was emotionally compromised and couldn't fight effectively.

As it was explained her grief combined with what was left of the mind stone's influence on her plus the chaos magic she utilizes which is creation magic manifested the hex Wandavision and materialized a version of Vision. The yellow energy spurting out of her to create Vision was the last energy of the mind stone within her. The rest of the hex bubble was the red chaos magic.

No. The only important thing from Agatha All Along you need to know is Billy's "soul" was pulled from nothingness and placed in the body of some kid that died in a car crash. Then Billy (now Wiccan) finds Agatha and reverses the mind-control spell put on her by Wanda, and together they put Tommy's soul in the body of some kid that died in a swimming pool accident.

I know I am. It was a shame Ultron had so little dialogue in the Age of Ultron. The back and forth between Vision and Ultron has been the most enjoyable part.

Most of the old classic avenger stuff will be spent in doomsday, secret wars will be part of the pivot to new era, drive already said scarlet witch and young avengers are the centerpiece of that erase in fact, he also said wandavision and multiverse of madness pivoted her to central fo us in mcu, the only really popular parts of the phase.

a weird move considering Billy was made back when it was actually somewhat controversial (the creator didn't think he'd even get permission to have his gay couple and started with one as a girl) and also was always handsome because canonically the twins were dead ringers for young magneto.
at least one of them still gets to be hot thanks to breaking their identical status.
>>223981934
i don't think the comics ever satisfactorily explain their version of events, though you could handwave it in various ways. in the tv show you're dealing with two active reality warpers who can do things unconsciously, so no further explanation is required.

I just recently watched it for the first time and I was disappointed with how much Ultron was in it. Film was mostly about the avengers' personal damage. I prefer Visionquest because it has plenty of Ultron quips and is more about the dialogue rather than a flurry of action one can't even follow. The West is so bad at action scenes it is incredible.

Hello, I'm Mary McDonnell, you might remember me from Battlestar Gal-ACK!
>>
To me this show is almost like a noncanon prequel about the Architect and the Oracle. I could see Ultron going full enslavement one day and maybe the tiny bit of black lady who was once human ends up being the reason why she aids the human resistance against the machines. She definitely helped enslave humanity, but eventually came to regret it and set the events of the Matrix movie series in motion. I mean shit, they're already asking us to accept fully artificial characters as the same as flesh and blood people.
>>
I guess I’m just too familiar with fiction at this point but it’s blatantly obvious Ultron is going to betray Jocasta and the “client” is that very first synth.

I also think its hilarious how they repeatedly show Vision “memories” and it’s purely clips from AoU and IW.

Vision prime "kills" Ultron, cutting off all his exit points and destroying all his hosts, the reveal being he's preserved, downloaded instead of complete erasure. Thanos "kills" this Vision, taking his mind stone, shutting him down and thus putting him (and so Ultron) permanently to sleep. Wanda makes Vision2 as daddy Vision, SWORD makes dead Vision undead as White Vision, who is basically just a puppeted corpse, with Vision and Ultron still locked away. Vision 2 talks to White Vision, opens up his mind and awareness, thusly waking up/turning him into Vision 3, and Ultron is once again awake but imprisoned. More confusingly at random points in time (I'm assuming the rest were as Vision 3?) he decided to also download Friday from Tony's suit, Edith from Mysterio's glasses, and Dummy and U from... Pepper's house maybe? You'd think she'd still want those AI around. No clue what instance of Jarvis he has, but I assume that's also from AoU.
>>
>>223972492
It's actually pretty solid. If you've got a HARD avoidance of girl power and lesbians and a gay twink you might find it grating, but the journey and the story are rather fun. Personally I didn't find any of it too forced other than one really lame pun in the late game. I can't think of a single reason to bother with Echo. She Hulk was fine, was charming MCU world expanding for a short moment but crashed and burned with its ending. I'd say it's worth watching half of, stopping after Daredevil's episode, or watched throughout out of mockery and interest (instead of going in expecting pure kino).

He could easily aurafarm some Hades energy, though they're trying to have him be Pissy Old Grandpa too, and he's cramping his own style. He elaborates in this show that they're a disease upon themselves, and most painfully not even a quick and lethal one. He's basically trying to scrub them and start fresh to get something better for the planet. His interests don't really point towards anything outside of Earth and Humans, even if neither have exclusive tricked.

MCU universe wanda is dead.
Mutant reality warping Wanda that's magneto's.daughter from the xmen universe shows up in the main universe in doomsday, thus preserving MCU wanda's arc and death while opening up the possibility of a family reunion of sorts.
That's how I'd do it, which means it'll probably be a stupid asspull.
>>
>>223981934
Wanda warped reality and manifested a fake Vision, but Billy and Tommy were real, they were just a sort of negative aspect in space once Wanda removed the Hex. With the car cash, you could say Billy was lucky to find a warm and compatible body, or that the proximity sucked him in, or that his magic nature led to the graft, any combination. Tommy's soul was still stuck somewhere though, Billy just had to cram it back into reality through similar means. Wanda never knew her kids had presence in this world, and through the bullshit dreams lore MoM dropped, figured her only path to her kids would've been through alternate realities. I wonder what she could've done and would've done if she'd known they were available here.

To be fair, because Ultron was taking a run at him in the final moment, after stalling to get him to move closer, I figured Ultron got to him and forcibly uploaded himself before he could get blasted.

I was actually expecting him to emerge at some point, especially when White Vision showed up. When he started crushing Wanda's skull I thought that was it, which would have been cool.

I understand the hate for AoU because I had an extreme negative reaction to it the first time. I didn't like Ultron being so human, (I didn't like JARVIS at first because he spoke so naturally and not robotic at all). I came around on both counts. After watching AoU again I found it got better with repeat viewings. I really got to like Spader's Ultron and saw what they were going for, so no way I wasn't watching this series despite my disappointment with WandaVision, (which did have its moments and was interesting as concept overall). Which is to say, I liked it, except for all the stupid crap I didn't like.
>>
>>223991276
If they wanted us to think she was really for sure dead they would've shown her being crushed by the temple, not just a flash of red light from a distance, which is laughably vague and survivable even by comic book standards. Besides, why would she be the only member of the family to not survive and get a happy ending (assuming Vision and Tommy survive past VisionQuest, which I imagine they will)?
>>
>>223971046
Stane didn't kill him.
Stane just zap paralyzed him while they were alone in the tent, then told his guys to "Clean it up" when he left the tent and they executed the guys outside the tent. We never saw Stane or anyone else kill him, we assumed so.
One of two things:
Raza is so dangerous that even Stane did not dare kill him, but executing a bunch of Raza's men for him failing to deliver on the Tony Stark contract was considered fair retribution in their world.
Or:
No one closely checked the slumped, twitching, and bleeding Raza on screen and Marvel went for an asspull memberberry character they could get far cheaper than Bettany and Spader.
I'm not mad about it either way, really. Him surviving and being a member of the Ten Rings and in Madripoor?
I'll fucking allow it.

Until Tim Roth showed up and then I was having fun, but then he went away and the hate came back.
It was like watching Amy Schumer do an impression of Robin Williams 2002 water bottle bit.
My brain was thinking:
"I see that what you are doing is supposed to be funny. But the character is insufferable. She has no likeable characteristics. The stuff she is doing is supposed to be cool, and funny. It might be, if she wasn't badly copying other characters with every single trait she has, and adding new and even more insufferable personality traits that were not present in the source material."
She Hulk just hit the level of I can't take this bullshit anymore but I am going to at least half watch it so that I can properly talk shit about it.

As soon as I saw her sparkle into existence on screen, I recognized her from the Doctor Who episode, and then realized that she had lost a good bit of weight.

>Ultron throws a pipe at Jocasta's face and moves a fleshy being into the return line of fire in half a second.
Ultron already knows how to kill her.
Jocasta can think in microseconds, Vision can do a quintillion calculations in seconds.
I don't know the exact math, but Ultron was so fast in his thought and action, and an action governed by physics, that Jocasta could not move her head or swat the pipe and chose to laser it instead, exposing her mistake in believing that Ultron valued this human's life as much as she did for the moment.
As fast as the pipe was moving, it was crawling across a football field at a snail's pace compared to their thought speed and she still didn't consider the possibility that Ultron would casually vaporize her target.

>inb4 616 Jocasta is black
No, she was explicitly based on Janet Van Dyne. Slott made her black in his shitty Iron Man run where she adopts a black Avatar. And the reason why is because Amerimutts worship niggers, so they hear an Ancient Greek name and their mind immediately jumps to monkeys.

Jarvis already got offed, Friday just send an outgoing message from an evil AI she's still stuck in, Edith just had a big hero moment, and realistically Vision's not going to be a charcuterie board of AI forever. I think his headmates are more on the chopping block than the girlfriend. Hey unrelated, what happened to Paladin? I thought a plain understanding was reached between them and they'd all go together, but it doesn't look like he got in the van. He just clowns on the katana dude and walks away? >>223994285
>am enjoying it but I wish the cast could actually... Act. Spader is great at doing his thing but everyone else feels like they put out a casting call at community theater, "newcomers only!".
This is just modern acting now, "sinceritymaxxing" (is. REEE YOU'RE GASLIGHTING MEEE) basically did away with the traditional acting arts and it has ruined everything.

If you want good acting go watch a period drama, it actually forces the actors train for the role.
>>
>>223994285
Agreed. The Vision headspace crew feels like they're trying too hard to be Doctor Who extras, Tommy acts like he was pulled off a random British sitcom, Paladin comes across like he's desperate to start quipping but people keep punching him in the mouth, and Bettany seems like he WANTS to play the real Vision again but the scriptwriters keep telling him that he's supposed to keep pretending he's autistic and unemotional even though he clearly likes and respects the other AIs.

It's like I said. Ultron/Spader singlehandedly saved this entire show, his dynamic with every other character makes them better and the ones with no connection to him are also the worst ones, and it would be shit without him.

The extra AI’s are unnecessary but they clearly wanted some type of padding. I would trade it all if we could get Elizabeth Olsen back. In a lot of ways they should’ve made it a part 2 to Wandavision. Parents, Tommy, Billy, and Ultron.

I know film illiterates on the board hate this and use it for "I'M ACTING" shitposts but I think the sort of intense, sincere, visceral/ugly style of acting has it's place... In films like Marriage Story, which are grounded dramas. A show like this isn't going to allow for a scene like that, and not just anyone can pull those off at all, so it feels more like >>223994340 said, Dr. Who extras. The "Vision crew" might as well be cast in the next series of Progressive insurance ads.

Fuck, I can actually see it. Especially Dum-E and U, they're basically a bit for a whacky ad being stretched out over the show.

I haven't seen any of the MCU shows except for the first three episodes of WandaVision last week and that too only because the first three episodes of WandaVision were uploaded to YouTube for free. I'm not paying for Disney Plus. That said, the first three episodes of WandaVision were kino and I'd like to see the rest of WandaVision, both seasons of Loki and Vision Quest. I don't care about the other shows though and hopefully Vision Quest doesn't waste Ultron's potential. Age Of Ultron did Ultron dirty.

If you're so invested why not pay for a month? Or better yet there's other ways of watching.
