Witch's Dungeon in Plainville Connecticut is a must for October. One of the comfiest experiences.
Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA is really cool
Never been, but you can stay at the Lizzie Bourden house in southern MA which sounds fun

I don't really care about history at all. I don't care about people, places, names, events, I just like seeing the tools and buildings they made.
History is just propaganda designed to enforce a modern status quo with a selective interpretation of the past.

Then why are you in this thread if you don't care about history tourism? You sound low IQ. You want to see what people made without understanding the why.

No stupid. The rock itself is a myth. If there was such a rock that wasnt the original, and they didnt even take the first steps on land in plymouth.

Salem is based, recommend Harrison's comics, Olde Main St Pub, and a Goodnight fatty. Go around this time and there's a big party on the common but no parking. Seriously, do not drive to Salem until after Halloween. Take the ferry from Boston Harbor. I'm dead serious.

Also few know this but Salem Common is 100% 24/7 free parking on the surrounding streets. You just need to go park there on the off season.

The mayflower first landed on cape cod and stayed a while before they sailed into the bay and onto plymouth. Plymouth was a ghost village abandoned by the Wampanoag tribe because they got BTFO years earlier by plagues likelt from
european traders. The story of thanksgiving is mostly true. .

There was no original plymouth rock. Like 120 years after they landed some dying senile boomer pilgrim declared a big ass boulder to be the landing site and everyone sort of went with it. Thats the story thats been the tourist trap for like 300 years. now its a little bit larger than a shopping cart and sits in a pit by the water. The waterfront is worth a visit and there are some cools bars nearby but dont expect to be impressed with the rock itself.
