I'm seriously considering a Spring Break trip to one of the smaller, less popular, cheaper islands here for a comfy getaway, likely with a girl. From what I can tell, Grenada gets the best value because it's the most well-rounded and isn't popular with Boomers or richfags (it's mostly known in the U.S as a 1980s Cold War battlefield), but I've also heard great things about Dominica and St. Vincent for their nature. If anyone here has been to this area and could give me some advice, that would be much appreciated.
>>2915108Singapore is your best for an island.
>>2915109that is not in the Lesser Antilles
Go to Saba they got a nice museum (my friend is the director)I never been there though
>>2915756>SabaSaba looks gorgeous and seems like an IRL Wes Anderson setting but it's a damn rock with a bowl. I'll probably come back there as part of a bigger trip as a richfag later in life.
>>2915108>cheapGood luck with that. But as someone with a trip booked to guadeloupe later this year, dominica was my backup.
>>2915108Saint Kitts and Antigua are nice.Everything else on that map is overpriced trash. Avoid Saint Vincent and Grenadines as it's relatively unsafe.Guadeloupe has nice spots but the poverty is rising and people are struggling more and more due to the french government not giving a single fuck about them. Not worth visiting and dealing with all the issues just to see a few spots.Puerto Rico is trash, entitled and retarded population who hates foreigners/tourists (especially americans) and unsafe in certain spots. British Virgin Islands there's nothing to see there, it's a tax haven with empty letterbox company offices, average nature and nothing else.US Virgin Islands are actually very nice, worth a detour as there's a lot more nature and more friendly to tourists exploring around.Anguilla and Montserrat treat them like the BVI, very empty and boring.Martinique, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Barbados are all very overpriced for shit services, subpar food and not much to see.
>>2915911I was thinking of going to Curacao, anything I should know?
>>2915889>Good luck with that.Relatively speaking of course. I'm very outdoorsy/cultural and food oriented rather than a big events guy.>>2915911>Saint Kitts and Antigua are nice. What about these places are nice? I know Antigua has history while St. Kitts is sleepy and pleasant.>Saint Vincent and Grenadines as it's relatively unsafe. How so, just general crime as a result of not a lot of tourist money coming in and there being a ton of Blacks?>Guadeloupe>Puerto Rico>BVINever planned to visit any of them anyway. I might visit PR with my family because I have a cool Aunt from there whose family owns some land in the jungle but I've never been interested because it's overpriced and generally shitty.>USVICool but I don't have Epstein bucks>Anguilla >MontserratThe latter morbidly interests me because of the volcano but it doesn't have much else going on, it's just a rock. Likewise Barts and Anguilla are exclusive richfag islands.>very overpriced for shit services, subpar foodSaint Lucia I get because that's what my Grandpa said about it when he was there a decade or so ago and I checked the prices myself and they were ridiculous, but Grenada? It seems really cheap to me compared to the other ones while I've heard the food is good because of all the spices. If you could tell me more about it that'd be interesting.>BarbadosYeah that's out of my price range anyway. Unless there's a surplus of girls that look like Rihanna I'm not interested.
>>2916067Guadeloupe has tons more outdoors stuff than grenada.
>>2915911Do you have any experience with Dominica?
Highly recommend Grand Turk. If I can get into the hard drive I encrypted but forgot the password to, I will send pics.
>>2916715I'll look into it, I've heard it's one of the more expensive ones but you can find gems anywhere if you look hard enough.
>>2916652I would also like to know about this
>>2915911USVI had the highest murder rate in the world a bit ago. Having been I wouldn’t say it’s more dangerous than PR, although having power outages and a generally worse looking place than BVI. More worried about getting shit stolen in or than short or stabbed on usvi. Really disagree on PR, if you surf and have a rental car it’s a great place. But if you just hang out in San Juan or day trip to one or two spots it would be less so.That said, I was only on Saint Thomas for about a day and St John looked a lot more pleasant while sailing by there.>>2916652Would like to know this as well. Looks very unspoiled for hiking, could be good surf too.

>>2915911>Martinique, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Barbados are all very overpriced for shit services, subpar food and not much to see.I don't know about the prices because I was living on a boat with a bunch of hippies, living as cheap as we could. We even went dumpster diving at one of the big Carrefours in Martinique, it was a nice image: a bunch of white people digging through trash and the black employees looking at us like "wtf is going on here". We visited Martinique Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, I thought there was plenty to see everywhere, we had a blast the whole trip. They're all extremely underdeveloped islands, I don't know what you're expecting. It can be dangerous though, keep your eyes open. We were out at night in a random area somewhere in the south of St Lucia and we saw this shanty club by the beach, with a big crowd that was mostly blacks. We thought why not, let's just go in. The security at the door told us "naw dudes, this place ain't for you, we strongly suggest you gtfo of here". Then we spent the night at the beach drinking rum with coconut water and we slept between the bushes. Great times.
