For those who immigrated. How do you feel? Do you regret it? What made you move other than work and family? How long did the procedure take?I've spent my entire life in the same area. Looking for something new.
>>2914968>I've spent my entire life in the same area. Looking for something new.larping faggit.
Im treated like a white monkey in exchange for lots of money
>>2915018it's fine to have discussion threads, op might be a faggit but I don't see how it's a larp
>>2915189FUCK you
>>2915018>>2915208Not a faggit
>>2914968I immigrated from the US to Germany. I made the mistake of thinking "this will only be for a few months". Months turned into years and now it's been 15 years. How do I feel? It felt special at first, now it feels normal. I made the right choice though. Life here is much more relaxing. Traveling to new countries/cultures is easy in Europe. The only regret is seeing family less than I normally would have. You can't get back those years your kids or your nieces and nephews grow up in. I've always loved Germany and took German in Highschool as a language but found out American schools don't teach shit because I could barely speak German after 4 years of learning it.>How long did the procedure take? What procedure? Don't move unless you have a job in your target country. My advice is don't go into an expat bubble, absolutely learn the local language, and don't have short term thinking.I know several people who have been in Germany and will never learn German. They miss out on so much.
>>2914968I also want to do this, I have lived in the same place for 32 years. Anons is it worth it or does it actually suck? Would you just prefer to travel vs. living in a different place?
>>2914968I lived in Taiwan for most of the last 20 years. Don't go there. I have significant kidney damage, heart valve damage, and two strokes because they do the same shit as China -- substitute cheap industrial chemicals for "expensive" food oils in order to make huge profits for the poisoners, then their medical system gaslights you into thinking that your medical problems don't exist. For example, I went in to see one of their quacks in August 2022 and he told me my kidney function was "normal". I ended up in screaming agony from what turned out to be gout in February 2023 and was told that my blood uric acid levels were ridiculously insanely high. I later found my test results from August 2022 and they were even higher when I was being told that my kidneys were just fine and there was nothing to see here.Similarly, when I had my second stroke, I went in to the ER, was told nothing was wrong and was given a baggie of Tylenol, and was sent home. I had to fly to Thailand to get a diagnosis, by which time it was far too late to do anything to treat the stroke. And here's my story about my post-exposure rabies treatment: >>2914057tl;dr Taiwan sucks, don't trust the fuckers, pick literally anywhere else in Asia, but really the only place you can trust is Japan.
>>2918178>gets brushed by a bat>armchair doctors and self-diagnoses himself off of cdc bs>hey doc i really want this bullshit vaxx>sorry champ you dont need it>but i want it tho>sorry>i'll pay it myself>ok fine>gets jabbed>gets fucked up for the rest of his life from it>blames the doctor
100% worth it. I make 5x in the US what I would have made in Canada.
>>2914968> For those who immigrated.i stayed for a few years in spain, it was pretty rough to do it legally, and I am an EU citizen kekthey had a system in space which is fucked up, more likely setup like this to defer people immigrating which is understandable.for example, to get a rent: you need an ID card but you cannot get it without having a place to stay KEK
