Tonight will be Abiotic Factor. Hopefully the new update didn't break everything.
Seems like everyone decided to draw ghosts for Halloween.
>>86220009Major drop in pumpkin fucking this year.
>>86222611Literally 1969
>>86222611All I got is men painting their ass like pumpkins to simulate it.

Was testing Abiotic Factor for tonight and you will have to remove the mod we had to play. You will also lose any items you had that were a part of the mod. Works fine otherwise.
>>86227463Figured, I'm 99% sure I should be fine since I don't think I ever got around to actually using the trinkets it added.>Hidden at 17 Jun 2026, 7:45PM by >FriendlyDisaster for the following reason:This mod is currently not supported by the author(s) and/or has issue(s) they are unable to fix yet.Seems it's been broken anyways for months.
Time for Abiotic Factor server is Levorii and password is Juuichi.>>86227567It worked as I had some of the trinkets from it I got to get a new cube and crystal vial because of it. The rest of it I didn't use because I couldn't remember. We can also add mods if someone sees one they like to the world from the new workshop they are importing stuff so not much yet.
>>86222611I feel like this is the only one I've seen.
GG to everyone that played. Next time will be Golf with your Friends.
>>86229580Sans how stubborn I got with Cloud, Gale went pretty smoothly.Although in the grand scheme of things we barely progressed just to have to deal with more combat pain.
>>86229605I'm glad we got reactors done, but I think the game starts to fall off here harder here since a lot of it is just a gauntlet or busy work left. At least I know how to cheese fragments somewhat so we can get that done fast when we get there.
>>86229752desu I feel Reactors was the lowest point. The game does an (arguably) decent job at dripfeeding enemy types and how you should manage them, only to rape you with four different types of them at once, and (for lack of a better analogy) pulls a DaSII where the game ganks you with a bunch of enemiesAt least by Shadowgate you're graced with null grenades to make it easier, Praetorium is slightly more manageable sans the tank, and Residences-Fragments/Botanical doesn't each linger for too long and gives you somewhat-cool shit.
Anyone know what ever happened to TairuPanda / Tuler? Used to look out for his art but I noticed he hasn't posted anything for more than 2 years now.
>>86227248This artist is so based
>>86233150https://bsky.app/profile/supertuler.artHe moved to bsky now, like a lot of leftist furries
These are the maps I picked out for golf.https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1536387268https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1438631129https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1475634610https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3791445205https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3774062693Let me know if you want to change. add, or remove something.
>>86240859Those seem fine, pretty much a gamble if there's any bullshittery or not when we get to them. These seem Halloween-adjacent, don't think we tried these yet:https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3487189329https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3746893235
>>86242071Got them and I don't think we did them either.
Time for golf, Room is us east, room name is Levorii and password is Juuichi.
>>86249970I never understand these kinds of pictures, like what's there to question you have your cock out for me to stare at
>>86250426And he's leaking precum.... the audacity...
GG to everyone that played. Doom will be next time.
>>86251443Kind of a shame most courses feel super derivative from what I imagine being the tools to make courses are super limited in what can be done.Even the "one hole reused for all holes" gimmick ended up being too brain-off since I stopped bothering with the intended path.
>>86251589Yeah it feels like we have seen most of what the workshop has to offer already. If you guys are getting tired of it we can remove golf and maybe replace it with something else.
>>86251589I thought the courses I won were good and the courses I lost were bad. Joking aside I kind of agree, it's kind of just feeling like different parts rearranged.>>86251781I don't mind trying another few custom courses or just cutting the game. I'll try to think of some other games to suggest.
>>86251781Yeah, I feel it definitely ran its course on what's left to offer, since even the "decent" looking courses have glaring issues. Shame Walkabout is VR only since it's infinitely better to play.Besides that, the other ideas I have immediately in mind are EYE: Divine Cybermancy (but I think it's better to have it replace Abiotic Factor instead when we finally get around to wrapping it up in ~4 more sessions), and from the rise of slopped co-op mods, there's Bloodborne seamless co-op (https://github.com/vladtepes22/NightwatchCoop) and Dude Sex (https://github.com/cranebeaker/deus-ex-coop).Although I feel there's probably better picks beyond those. I haven't touched EYE in ~13 years, Bloodborne is like a 30 hour commitment, and Deus Ex starts to feel like a slog after Paris.>>86251886>it's kind of just feeling like different parts rearranged.I guess that's also a better way to put it, ignoring the lack of texture diversity, everything feels like its just shoving prefabs together. Same puffy butthole rims, same Aquinas holes on a hill, same corners to hit off at full force.
>>86251886>>86252273Okay, I'll remove golf. As for the next game I've played none of the suggested ones surprisingly enough, so if you guys wanted to do one first, I'm cool with any of them. Or if you came up with something you guys wanted to do something else in the end, that is also fine.
>>86252273I actually just started a run on Bloodborne.. bbport from deadinside28 is the only version I've got running without fairly frequent crashes or glaring issues (haven't messed with Shad much though desu) but it's been extremely smooth and 0 crashes so far. It recently released a windows version and has a seamless mod built in too through Seamless Hunt. I kinda think it'll be a bit of a pain to find versions everyone can run well enough, and I imagine still being fairly new the 'ports' and seamless mods will inevitably have issues too. I'm generally alright with a bit of tinkering and troubleshooting personally though. I haven't played and don't know much about EYE or Deus Ex, both seem cool.
>>86252458I'll put my bid on Dude Sex if I can't think of anything better. It'd be nice if there was documentation on how it handles items, since I foresee loot not being duplicated for everyone, but we shall see when we get to it I suppose. >>86252642That's mainly why I'm a bit hesitant for Bloodborne. It took about a year for >Shad to go from barely playable with glaring glitches, to little-to-no issues as-far-as-I've-heard, and I expect the slopped recomps to take a while for any issues to get ironed out. That and I feel it'd be better to play solo first instead of co-op, since co-op would drop the difficulty a ton. Most of the fun in Bloodborne is the visceral difficulty.
>>86252642>>86253181Seems like we should give Deus Ex a try then if everyone is alright with that.
>>86253181Yeah Bloodborne needs probably a few more months I'd say. Seems like it can run amazingly well if you get the right version for your setup with the right settings, just need a bit for things to get unified or some better supported version takes a clear lead. I do kind of agree that it's a game to experience solo or mostly solo first, but that's just my mindset of binging stuff I personally love instead of stretching it over a longer period.>>86253387Yeah Deus Ex sounds good to me.
>>86253387>>86253641I'll try and poke around with getting things dialed in by the time it gets into rotation. 99% sure I can just pack my copy since I somewhat recall being able to run it outside of Steam. My main qualm is that I remember either the DX10/DX11 renderer having nasty stuttering, and unironically using the RTX renderer had it perform better. But it might just be a localized issue with how quirky my GPU wants to be.
>>86257853He cute.
