>>11932644this sucks. leakers suck. you suck.
Some notes>>Marvel wants more Krakoa era stuff so the decision was made to make Krakoa era Sinister to gage interest>>Hasbro also wants to make the Mutant X team, while at the same time not wanting to do another compromised Goblin Queen as Marvel doesn't mind Maddie's Mutant X costume. >>Plan is to complete the Crossing era Avengers team by 2028. Crossing era Giant Man will either be a SDCC figure or a BAF.>>As part of the deal for theur likeness rights for Doomsday, Alan Cummings and James Marsden signed off on making figures based off off their original trilogy versions.>>Thunderball will be out late 2027 and the rest of the Wrecking Crew team released in 2028 and 2029.
>>11932651>Marvel wants more Krakoa era stuff so the decision was made to make Krakoa era Sinister to gage interestThe first Krakoa wave didn't sell. This isn't even an AoA situation where the first wave sold but the second one didn't. It should be obvious to Marvel, Disney and Hasbro by now that for X-Men the 90s designs are the only reliable sellers.>>Plan is to complete the Crossing era Avengers team by 2028. Crossing era Giant Man will either be a SDCC figure or a BAF.They could just do a normal size figure in that costume. That would leave Thor, Hercules and Crystal, unless they plan on doing the Force Works characters, War Machine's alien armor, Mantis, Kang and the other villains.
>>11932651>>Marvel wants more Krakoa era stuffFucking WHYWhat makes them think this is the time to push Mutant Israel and gay polyamorous Wolverine
>>11932761they play the long game.
>>11932761Krakoa got me to stop reading X-Men. It really didn't feel like it was meant for me and was too far a departure from what I like about the X-Men (underdogs that fight for the people that hate them, though I get that they can't just keep repeating this story over and over).
>>11932823Same.Also Ethnostates are just wrong and it was weird af seeing everyone in-universe treat it as this great thing.
>>11932823It had the same effect on me as OMD had on my Spider-Man reading, I quit cold turkey. I don't want to see the face of 90s comics getting buttfucked by Scott fucking Summers, sorry. I don't want to see the heroes palling around with Magneto and Mr. Sinister and casually killing themselves so the island can clone them consequence free. And what the fuck ever happened to poor Beast, jesus christ.
>>11932644This goes against the leaks already out there about Goblin Queen and Sinister as a 2 pack. Comments?
>>11932929That set got split up once Marvel started demanding more Krakoa stuff and wouldn't let Hasbro release the failed Haslab Maddie figure but would allow them to do the Mutant X version with no changes to her costume. And stuff like Sinister 's pets and a removable cape is being tossed in to justify Sinister now being a deluxe while Bloodstorm (a figure that didn't sell) being put into the set is pure cost cutting. As is repurposing a new stand alone Cable to go with an existing Deadpool figure, as opposed to the original plan to have the Wrecking Crew be two two packs.>>11932761Marvel doesn't like the 90s stuff and were pissed off when Hasbro went over their heads to Disney to refocus the line on the 90s designs (and why X-Men 97 got its own dedicated subljne as well). Stuff like Astonishing getting figures kept Marvel content on they they legit would rather have AXM be the poster child for X-Men merch then the Lee run. As for 90s Giant Man; internally, Hasbro thinks a larger Hank Pym figure will sell better than a standard figure. Combined with the idea that if we make him a BAF, we can leverage that to move a regular wave or use the idea of a convention set for a larger set, to get figures like Gravitron or Proctor or Moonstone made as part of a larger set or even a Haslab release.
>We'll never get a full Champions lineup because Marvel is back to doing X-Men only againPain
>>11932644>Thor (Eric Masterson head sculpt version from the a destroyer two pack)Why wouldn't it be the Crossing Thor
>>11932644No more releases in the Hulk subline?
