The Universal stuff has long been out of print since they originally came out about a decade or so ago when Shin was still relatively new. Shame for Shin Godzilla's case since the second Universal exclusive is probably the best MMS of Shin Godzilla to date in terms of accuracy seeing it did the red vinyl transparency with the rest painted over gimmick. Only thing that comes close was the big monster king version they released a while back.

Minus Zero Ghidorah is probably going to be a standard release which means it's going to have a much larger production run to cost, it's going to be a depiction from what is likely to be the most financially successful Japanese made Godzilla movie, and if it's anything like the Ride Ghidorah than it's not going to basically be the same size as KOTM Ghidorah.If the $260 SHMA is probably going to be asking for it is too much then you can always get the Super7 version.

Mostly because I dont have a flight stand that looks good holding him.I think all the Showa figures other than Jet Jaguar are really sold figures.As for 72 and 75, I think it's a real toss up. I prefer the paint work on 72 and if you care more about the tail articulation the 72 is probably the one you want, but generally 75 has a better range of articulation for fighting poses. I dont know if they are actual butterfly joints in his shoulders, but what ever new engineering they have gives them a great range of motion for being able to do boxing poses.

Modern movies will all have their own merchandising campaigns and license holders may change for each one so rights are split up. The tricky thing is that you'd need a license for a monster + the modern version from whichever particular movie, i.e. NECA might've had the Monsterverse 2014 license but not the Muto license. In practice though for the most part when a licensor has gotten a license to one of the modern movies, they've gotten everything from it , even NECA did everyone but King Ghidorah for KOTM.
