Thanks. Prime day deals on Amazon. Core Battle for Eternia playset, Chronicles, and 200x.
>>11915823Oh neat. My display is OP =)>>11914426Thanks. It's just a hard plastic one from Great Saiyaman Gohan. It's attached with a clear rubber band. Also got a Bashasaurus the otherday. My expectations were low after getting the Battleram, but this is fantastic. Really good copy to, complete with original stickers and only $15.
>>11915823Just waiting for them to finish 200x
>>11915856Prime deals are worse or exactly the same as they have been the past two weeks on 200x
>>11915934You are right I didn't really notice. I got Mer-Man and lost interest in that line.
>>11915881So the Skeletor behind the He-Man on the top is a Good Variant?
>>11915934On the 2026 stuff yes, on some of the older stuff no. But there's really nothing there.
Rate my squad.
These are the Dinosaurs I was talking about last night. Ordered them alongside chronicles Fisto/Ram Man, Tri-Klops, and the Battle for Eternia playset this morning.
>>11916004You mean in my head canon? Honestly I just liked having both he-man and skeletor in different scenarios since they are usually centre of each scene so I got multiple filmation ones.Crazy I only started collecting 3 months ago. Hope we get more CC figures, but im plugging gaps with origins for now.
>>11915856Decided to snag NE Anti Eternia He-Man. Thanks for the heads up.
>>11916402Who's in the cube?
>>11916548He-man. Although since that photo Mossman arrived so he's currently trying to help him escape.
Lookie there
I also got king hiss from ali express. He is perfect. I had a carded one I wanted go keep sealed so this is perfect for play. Came with everything and not qc issues.
>>11916290Running wild/10
>>11916587I like it but I do think it looks strange, almost like a knock off that got a cheap light up gimmick. >>11916652You should get the Turtles of GreySkull King Hiss figure, it's pretty fun to swap parts around between them.
>>11916893It's the face. The original just doesn't look like the jolly Skeletor we know and love either.
>>11916893They look like a missing link between MotU and NA
Is there anything to look forward to from NYCC? I have a gut feeling we'll just see all the same stuff we did at SDCC.
>>11917059Worse case we’ll see the prototypes of the renders we saw
>>11916407NTA but it is a great figure; got an Amazon Resale (slightly damaged package but otherwise complete) and that was still about $2 more than this prime day price.>>11916893>>11916652Enjoying the two Turtles/King Hiss deluxe figures I found at clearance. Those extra arms and bits ARE great fun.
>>11917085Got a better shot of that 200x head on that body? Any chance i could get you to put the 200x gear on it
>>11917059More of those new Origins, I'd imagine.
>>11917086It's Masterverse He-Ro, stripped of much of his gear, with the 200x head from the Samurai 200x (because I ended up with 2 of him) and in that picture, Hordak's armor. I think He-Ro is probably a bit broader for the actual 200x armor? And I think the actual 200x He-Man I own is still in his blister package? Parts of two rooms literally look like disaster areas because I was sick then very busy. So it's somewhere under open and sometimes only partially empty boxes.Happy to try the Samurai 200x gear on He-Ro because it's definitely handy?
>>11917059I know I sound like a broken record after 2-3 threads, but Mattel announcing a line of Accessory Packs is definitely at the top of my list: don't you want repaints of things like havoc staffs and swords of power for the holidays?
>>11916294Neato! I've been thinking a lot about monster mounts lately, might pick one up.>>11916587Badass.
>>11917177They'ed have my money as soon as it was announced>>11917093Yeah that's pretty much all Icexpect to see. They showcased a Batman from their new dc collector line today. Now I cant help but wonder if they're working on that MOTU × DC crossover we keep speculating over.
>>11916587Another thing I would love is an accessory pack with a variety of heads - someone is trying to get as much for just a bald zombie Keldor head as you pay for the entire box. Different eyes and 'skin' color for the skeleton bones would definitely be popular.
>>11917586Instead of a crossover my pipe dream is that they'd make a Warlord line on Origin bucks to go with Origins. It was literally made to be a clone of Heman. And Amethyst to go with Shera just because it'd be fitting. Give me the rest of PoP too Mattel!
got a shipping notice for mondo 200x teela already!
>>11917177>>11918466>double doubleI've bought enough origins for just their heads alone so the extra head pack would be especially welcome. I can't think of any weapons and accessories I want off the top of my head but I bet I'd still buy an accessory pack after seeing all the stuff in it.
Speaking of accessories...what would be the best way to get a copy of the bonus sword that came with CC He-Man?
>>11918466>>11918830Same, I'd buy a whole pack just if it included an actual proper vintage style MAA head
>>11918868>vintage style headsPLEASE. I love the classic Skeletor face, hate that you can only get it in rubber.
>>11918468Ideally Warlord would be a central character in this new crossover. Maybe he could somehow be involved in the DC heroes arrival on Eternia, that way we dont have to boom tube everybody in. It'd be nice if the comic tie-in were cooked up at the same time as the line itself too. Play the whole thing off as an extended Super Friends episode!
>>11917586>MOTU × DCI'd consider picking up an origins wonder woman
>>11919036Mattel would be stupid not to make this, so it probably won't happen
>>11918850I'm hunting for sword accessory weapons generally, not just for Origins sized characters or MOTU specifically, and has not noticed that difference with the hilt but I am pretty sure I haven't seen it. The least expensive current listing on eBay doesn't even have the right two swords and sealed packages are going for $60 or more. The basic sword is easy, faker has it, the vehicle and the cringer 2pk has it, so it's the unique hilt one that seems to be the "chase."
>>11919158It's based on the Sword of the Ancients from the cartoon Episode "Masks of Power" which itself is loosely based on a mini-comic. You're out of luck cause it's the only reason anyone wants that He-Man cause the Faker release is a more accurate/less expensive version. I don't know if they've reused the mold somewhere else but hopefully if we get a weapons pack it'll be there.
>>11918914>>11917586>MOTU × DCI'm curious about the new co-ceo being a Mattel guy will mean anything. They brought in two new people and it looks like they are consolidating the division that oversees DC (and other licensing) but also includes so much more, like the comics, the HP studio tours and Burbank studio tours plus loads more.Because the Barbie is important to WB, it will be a huge priority and I think the Mattel dude - unless he pissed off the leads or Gerwig or something like that, will play a role. I think this will bring attention to the toys even if it's not DIRECT c-suite office eyeballs.I'm not sure we can say anything but I do expect the collaboration to definitely happen, just not this year.>WarlordI think it will be more of a traditional collab, JL and MOTU. Warlord is too deep a dive and even normies have few clues about him.Originally, many were guessing that it felt like Gunn was leading to using the villain from Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier for his final movie of Gods & Monsters and I think Dino Island and dimension travel are not going to viewed as dirivitive of the MCU. I would love to see more animated DC stuff and a Tales From Eternis meets Tales From Skartaris set of episodes would be fun. Also easy to do, just make Skartaris a time displaced alternate dimension that existed alongside historic Preternia the same way the horde controlled planet does in modern time. But I would be shocked to see something like it even proposed in the industry trades within the next 3-4 years.
>>11916589Yeah, sorry bro. As every true fan will tell you, Blade and Saurod are canonically not vintage.
>>11916294I got confused again. The other Anon asked about dragons and I thought (and answered about cheaper Dinos). So when you wrote, I thought dragons! Those look like a good fit. What I have seen a more rubbery and more like background props than actually 'vehicles' for figures. I bought all three of these dinosaurs this spring, from multiple Ross locations (none had all three options, typical of the chain), when I had to hit an uncommon suburban area I otherwise never am at. But returned two for no real reason than I had bought too many things that month. I wish I had kept at least two now because I have not seen them again since, at that price.
>>11919633This true guys ? To me, doesnt seems so.I was thinking a four pack before but now I am thinking 2, 2 packs. Blade and Saurod then Gwildor and Karg
Is that big fancy Chronicles movie Roboto out yet?I want him.
>>11920147They only did an action feature core and a Walmart exclusive origins. There is another core version on the way in an Amazon exclusive 4 pack. Haven't heard of them doing a Chronicles one.
>>11920431This one is Walmart only? Crap. Haven't seen it anywhere yet.
>>11920442That one is (or was) on the Walmart.com site, but you can also find it at select WM stores which have the Hasbro/Mattel floor display. It has the GI Joe Classified Dire Tech figures and Masters of the WWE Universe new wave of figures (Battle Armor Cody Rhodes, Bow HBK, NWO Horde Hogan, Prince Bray Wyatt) and the Fright Zone Ring that has The Outsiders and a Two-Bad torso in fleshtone to combine the Outsiders just like the CC Two-Bad set.
>>11920456I haven't seen it at either of the two near me. Hm. Maybe for the holidays.....Or at Ross in a few months.
>>11920442Don't worry anon, theyll end up at DDs just like ToGs walmart exclusives. Went to a WM with the collector island an they were all shelfwarming along with Trapjaw dlx.
One nice anon is storytiming the art of He-man on /co/ >>155811425

>>11920672I believe it means "yo my bad I meant to remove that layer before shipping the final packaging design."
>>11916893>Turtles of GreySkull King Hiss>pretty fun to swap parts
>>11920686you've sold me on it
>>11920468>>11920442Walmart is crap for collectors near me, of any line (MOTU, DC, Classifieds, Legends). Even stuff which is supposed to be a WM Exclusive can be a pain. And 30-80% of the time I order for delivery, they sub something else OR they cancel that part of the order. It was in sale on WM's site I just think I would prefer the Masterverse personally. >>11920672>whats Retro PlayWell, the two ToGS and the 200x Samurai in the same packaging swap parts with the Origins and CC?
>>11916589Well that kinda cool. Although still waiting on Rotar andTwistoid.>>11916893>Turtles of GreySkullThanks, but I'm trying to limit myself to vintage, so outside of cartoon collection I don't want to get any designs that aren't from the 80's.
My two auction wins arrived (combined shipping). I now have a good set of used/loose females with the NE Despara, OG Masterverse Teela (the one with the shield), NE Catra, and the MV Shadow Weaver and Fostra, at a great price of less than $12 a figure, shipped and taxed, so even better than typical Ross or DDs, but two of them were missing 2 + 1 accessory. I was planning to grab Catra and Despara so that's a 50% savings there and I was interested in Teela's accessories and definitely would have gotten the MV Shadow Weaver, so probably did well all around even if I paid a lot more for the other lot. Is Vykron valuable? His white fur is missing from the harness but otherwise, I did get all the pieces shown plus two other bodies, one of which is the MV He-Man, and the other is the Viking He-Man MV buck. The seller technically had Vykron displayed in all three forms.
Does anyone happen to know of a good Lion and elephant that would roughly fit originds so i can recreate this pic? >>155811455
>>11919972>This true guys ?Of course not., But that's what Mattel is running with apparently. Just like with Classics we're now at that point where the bullshitting and corporate copouts accumulate.
>>11919972>Karg?? But he never got a vintage?
>>11920815Likely, Mattel isn't lumping these three with vintage MOTU as they are planning on an entire 40th Origins movie line for 2027 and they'll be released under that. So these three, MaA, Teela, He-Man, Karg, Beastman, Evil Lyn, Skeletor, Shock Trooper, Sorceress, Deluxe Powered up Golden Skeletor, and a Comic Con exclusive three-pack with Lubic, Julie and Kevin but for them they'll use the core body bucks since they're Earthlings.
>>11921059>Origins movie line>DC origins line>still no heman transformer from Mattel despite leaksPLEASE mattel
>>11921098>>still no heman transformer from Mattel despite leaksAnon, were you in a coma in 2025?
>>11921152Should have been vehicles instead. Which transformer would you pair with which motu vehicles?
>>11920848Yeah, I am aware of that but seems like the new movie created a bit more appreciation for the chatacter and seeing that it is less likely to get an origins for that, with the anniversary for the old movie coming up, that would be a nice surprise to round out the other three. I figure its at least plausable and a neat idea.
>>11921152>>11921159>>11921098Feels like both parties involved dropped the ball at this point. The only collabs between the teo giants I've enjoyed have been the Hot Wheels and TF releases. It's been said before, but they really should have gone for a Beast Wars angle with the TFs on Eternia. You could repaint a bunch of the BW molds into the meteorbs and make some donut steels along the way. On the Mattel side, not going the pretender angle stunk too. The cosplay gimmick really didnt do it for me.
>>11921159I think rather than mash up a Transformers character with a MOTU vehicle, they should have done what Hasbro has done with other licensed collaborations and made up a non-canonical character. Make the Battle Ram transform into Eternia Prime or some shit. You just know people would have bitched about the vehicles not being in scale with their MOTU figues, though.
>>11921174No one cares what some AI bitch thinks.
>>11921184>You just know people would have bitched about the vehicles not being in scale with their MOTU figues, though.I mean it's not unthinkable. Motu vehicles are mostly single seaters with no canopy. If hasbro tried to make a Classified scale Starscream and made him an actual F-15 he'd be 4 and half feet tall.
>>11921174I'm a huge weeb and I would have loved to collect the Shogun Warrior Heman toys but GOD DAMN THE PRICE. I liked the Transformers crossovers which I know is rare but only really the TMNT one felt like a fully realized thing but I dont collect much TMNT so
>>11921174>>11921152I wanted Tigerhawk as Battlecat ever since 2010. Grygor Primal would be great too. All the animals really. I'm a BW fan and I am not familiar enough with the old vehicles to really think of anything else.
When are we getting Lizard Man?
>>11921190THIS
>>11921174I care what you think, AI bitch.
>>11920730>roughly fit originsHobby Lobby, Michael's and a few other places sell animals that are pretty much staction figures with 0POA and many are barely 2 to 4" in height. But they do make plastic animals that can probably support a 5.5" figure, you might need to buy one of those safari packages that have multiple animals
>>11921282I feel your pain. Far too often mattel orients these things towards deep pocketed collectors. I'd have snapped up those guys for as little as forty bucks a piece if themoption was on the table. Even if it meant less paint apps. >liked the Transformers crossovers which I know is rare but only really the TMNT one felt like a fully realized thing but I dont collect much TMNT soI also share this opinion. Really none of the other crossovers, save maybe WWE, have been as extensive or imaginative as turtles was. There was a real heart to turtles that's been absent from the rest. I was really hoping Thundercats would be able to match ToG but it sputtered out fast. For a franchise made to sell toys, nobody really seems keen on designing new digs for the Thundercats cast. The armor on those figures just looks so damn generic even now.>>11921283Some of the old vehicles have TF potential, especially if they designed them with origins compatibility in mind, like the attack track or sky sleds. However the beasts would just be the easier sell of the two. Especially since we've only gottrn stridor and the cats. >>11921360thanks fren
>>11921282>>11921409I would consider paying the premium for the Mondo but even that it's 24" inches, I don't see the value. Also, in all seriousness, what's wrong with Ice Skater Samurai He-Man as a Far East inspired alternative?
>>11921411The new 200X stuff just doesnt strike the same chord as the 2003 releases in my book. It's nice, but just not what I'm after. Plus the shoguns pull off double duty as jumbo machinders and MOTU figures. Gonna add this much to the conversation too since I'll never have a better chance.>In 2011, Funko tried getting a Shogun Warriors line off the ground called "Vinyl Invaders">The most they were able to do was Batman and Gene Simmons >Plans for a Skeletor invader were shown off but never realized
>>11921174Yeah that would've been pretty cool. I would've bought it.
>>11921283>beast wars battle catit's fucking brilliantmaybe they'll collab again one day
>>11921437>>11921451I got the primal Transformers blokees when if was 75% and I don't like TF so yes, these would be interesting depending on execution. But I also bought him >>11921152 for $12 for three of the accessories and the base buck. The base buck itself is different and useful for multiple reasons, including the white base even with the stupid crap attached to the arms. Actual boots make it more versatile. But you are all correct that the rest of the TF collab was mostly pointless cosplay.
>>11921360Seconded. The only bitch worth caring about.
Got my core he-man the way I finally want it with ram man's axe. Also secured my laser skeletor.
got my toys... I feel like this will be the last of my ordering from MC for a while>>11921152On the transformers side, we are supposed to get a vehicle transformer of some sort, according to leaks. Imagine an attak trak turning into an eternian styled Optimus prime.
>>11921190Seconded, AI slop posters need not apply. You're not welcome here.
So why do these kids toys get away with nipples on the torso but MOTU don't? Someone asked on a social media thread about the Mondo figures - in comparison to Mattel and no one seems to have an answer?

>>11922200Where did Mattel get all this money to have 3+ different MOTU lines, buy the DC license, buy the TMNT license and start up those respective liOh it's the Barbie movie isnt it?
>>11922220You forgot funding a terrible Hot Wheels movie. But yes, it was Barbie.
I went to an out of the way Walmart that had a Mattel/Hasbro collector display outside the toy aisle. I picked up Origins Roboto and the Fright Zone Wrestling Ring. It looks like Ross is getting another round of the Grizzlor/Bow/Whiplash/Shadow Weaver wave. Picked up Shadow Weaver and an inflatable Tyrannosaurus costume.
I saw the Ram Man wave at Walmart this morning. Which surprised me, because Walmart restocking He-Man is like...what? I noticed the He-Man in that wave has a solid vac-metalized cross on the chest instead of the gummi clear one.
Mondo's 1/12 200x Mer-Man is up for order. Timed Edition is $110, up from October 13th to October 23rd.
>>11922561The extra heads look fun and I am glad they didn't aim for more 'realistic' fur in anything but that doesn't look like more than $44.99-49.99 in value, notwithstanding the plastic/petroleum issues.
>>11922220AND the Barbie toyline. Mattel has infinite barbie money and that's why we profit with He-Movies even though they do mid at the box office.
>>11922873Amazon is still paying notwithstanding box office. Even if MGM made the movie, they still pay the rights holder something in streaming. >>11922556>solid vac-metalized crossFolks were commenting about this earlier this year and talking about "three" production runs or all sorts of nonsense. I know when I went to buy my second chronicles, I did look for a non-translucent one because I also wanted better eyebrows, but after a few weeks, I kept the one I found (which yes, I had purchased but not opened because the first time I had problems finding it at retail).
>>11922561I wonder how much the chest armor limits the ab crunch, I'm guessing it makes it completely useless, unless they did some crazy engineering.
>>11922543Not every store gets full waves or the same wave. I picked up a Legends BW (2 actually) for the great red-haired female head and because the catsuit is one of the easier female bodies to use for customs, and a MLS Warewolf, also for customs, and he was only $5.99. But that was from two different, nearby Ross stores and I have not seen either figure at another store in two weeks. I am looking forward to more movie MOTU toys being in clearance stores for the holidays.
And the vac metal is chipping in package. Neato.
>>11923024I saw some Rotons but I've already got 2. I've been waiting for core Battle Cat to get under $20 but Target seems to be holding onto them.
>>11921568I know it's being faithful to the source material but I wish the colors on 200x man-e-feelings was a little more vibrant.
mattel continues to be retarded

>>11923436No one is ever really gone
>>11923436Time to go on Ebay and pick up all the vintage vehicles they aren't going to remake...
>>11923072Yeah, the Rotans, like the Multidots, have essentially become peg-warmers even at Ross. The Rotans are actually a tiny bit less at the Target eBay storefront where you can get one shipped free for less than $13.The Battlecat you want is on a 25% off sale (plus the buy 1, get 50% off deal also applies) at Target, which is an online or in-store option.

Not motu, but dasin lion-o is out and didn't know where else to post. Not my pic, mine just shipped. From reviews he turned out good.
>>11923723Looks a similar height to the classics.
>>11923723I have him, he's great. Looks good with Chronicles for sure.
>>11923777Oh damn. If you have him do you have any height comparisons with figma or figuarts or even chronicles? I ordered late because cap planet and bravestarr were so small so won't have lion-o until end of the month.
>>11923723Yet another ugly Asian thigh swivel.
>>11923777Also if you have the motu mummra I'd be interested to see how they look together.>>11923795I like the way they cup the upper thigh into the lower part. Same with biceps. The straight cuts on Marvel Legends are jarring.
200x is genuinely the best piece of Motu media. It’s just an objective fact. I do respect the OG and plan on picking up the new build a figure waves tho. I feel the same way about tmnt btw. The og show is good but tmnt 2003 is the best of the bunch.
>>11923723I was really hoping he'd scale a little better with mondo which is the same size as masterverse. I mean it's not the worst, just makes him a little bit of a manlet. Oh well. I have him coming so I'm happy to hear he's at least a good figure. On second thought. I suppose he'll scale with chronicles a bit better.
>>11923817Isn't mondo non-scale? A bit like storm collectibles. Part of the reason I skipped as it seems more close to the mcfarlane/neca 7 inch size as opposed to legends or mattel. So far im really happy with how this lion-o looks. Dasin have defo stepped up their sculpt game. Hope this is a little more successful and we get more characters like they did for OPM, YYH and SD.
>>11923817Just to be clear I mean mondo's 200X line. Which is stated as 1/12 and specifically is the same scale as masterverse as you can see in my picture
I’m tapping out of mondo. These cost to much for any qc issues
>>11923436Why lie so blatantly? Is it terminal chutzpah?
>>11923866>I’m tapping out of mondo.Yeah this will happen with more collectors as the line continues.Clawful is pretty much perfect but the soft plastic on some of the other figs is worrying. Then again I'm mostly in for the Stactions. Repeating myself here but huge mistake on Mondo's part updating the released figures that were all basically shelfwarmers back in the day first instead of focusing on the unproduced characters.
>>11923868I watched pixeldan and in one if his interviews they backtracked on their promise to give us all vintage and said "up to the 87 movie figures" meaning we likely aren't getting them. Same for the giants which are now considered POG and not MOTU. Rotar and Twistoid are the only ones left, and they probably consider them novelty toys and not proper motu characters. This must be Mattels interpretation for them to make such a statement.
>>11923723he looks good but it sucks to know the rest of the team is doomed to super 7 hell, no way dasin will even make a mumm-ra

>>11923809Yes yes, congratulations on preferring the media from your childhood to the version from someone else's, next you'll tell me Pokemon stopped being good right after you hit puberty.
>>11924219I’m 47
>>11924219Also Pokemon was always faggot shit. Digimon was better.
>>11924232Wrong
>>11924233I don’t want to sperg out about this in a Motu thread but no season or movie of Pokemon compares to digimon in terms of quality, stakes and emotional impact. Pokemon did for a time have the better games but that hasn’t been true in years.
>>11923809>>11924232>>11924237Lmao who let this emo kid in here?
>>11923785>>11924109All I've got for now.
>>11924237>>11924232Y'know I see this sentiment commonly expressed but as the years go on I've come to disagree with it. Digimon was another save-the-world shonen, Pokemon attempts to be a sort of fantasy sports anime where the hero is allowed to lose and it isn't treated as a matter of life and death when he does. It reflects that a journey to become the Very Best is not a straight shot to the summit and that all the potential in the world does not mean you never lose. The very source of mockery for the show, that Ash is a loser, elevates it, and that alone makes it more unique, if not necessarily better written. And of course even the worst mainline Pokemon game objectively gigamogs the best Digimon game just by virtue of better fundamental system mechanics. When there are big cash tournaments for digimon games that people can build a career on I'll entertain the notion there's real competition, but as it stands I'd sooner take Monster Rancher seriously than Digimon's schizophrenic design choices.Masters of the Universe.
>>11924256No bad, thanks
>>11924273>where the hero is allowed to lose and it isn't treated as a matter of life and death when he does.James was the hero in Pokemon?!Off-topic shit aside, anyone have Chronicles Evil-Lyn yet? I saw a few pics and the face looks off

>>11923682You spelled 80s wrong
>>11924345I spelled 200x right. It's a decent show that's blown out of the water by other 2000s adaptations of 80s properties like TMNT '03 and Transformers Animated. Why are you sucking it off so hard? Do you just never watch better television?

>>11924656Bitch made my parents divorce
>>11924427For a property based on strongmen, monsters and swords, it's also appropriately an action cartoon compared to the non-violent kiddy 80's one

>>11924722>>11924656
>>11924711>b-b-but my 6/10 is better than a 4/10I see now why anon redirected you to /co/.
>>11923748You know, looking at this one, it's interesting to note that the send (particularly the uppers arms and the torso proportion) look a bit better on the MV but the elbow joint looks better on the Classic. And the proportions, and at least to my eyes, the aesthetics, of the upper legs look better on the Classic. However, the face sculpt on the MV is superior, in my eyes, although I suspect many would view the Classics and like it as being closed to their nostalgia for the OG 2980s toys. Finally, there's the torso/waist issue, on both the practical - especially depending on how you would like to pose your figures - and the shelf appearance value.Give the decisions Mattel made with Chronicles and appears to be making with the upcoming DC Collectibles lines for next year, it's all really fascinating.
>>11924711That's not true at all. The 80's show pushed boundaries of what was allowed on children's television with plots involving Lovecraftian horrors, demons, and ritualistic child sacrifice. 200x was paint by numbers in comparison with weird grey shadows and an aesthetic that was "what if Todd Mcfarlane made He-man". A matter of fact Digimon was "what if Todd Mcfarlane made Pokémon". Maybe you just like Todd and wish Spawn had a better plot?
>>11924711I mean, if we're talking feats of strength, 200X has to beat "pushing the moon back into its correct orbit" and "closing a canyon by physically pulling the land back together," to say nothing of the Flash classic of "running around a lake so fast it creates a tornado that sucks up all the water."

Managed to snag another cc he-man, man at arms and tri-klops. Going to try some kitbashes.
So is the 200x Cartoon Collection dead? I feel like just one more wave could have closed things out and finished off the core cast.
>>11925685No we really didnt.
>>11925733You don't understand what words mean
>>11925870Probably. Pretty annoying there were characters done for the 80's CC but not for the 200X CC and vice versa.
>>11925870yes, Just picked up the Sorceress at ROSS for $13. Didn't have money this week to grab Trap Jaw and Syclone as well. But yea, prepare to see a lot of 200x at ROSS and DDs for the next few months.
>>11925870maybe it'll get the vintage treatment and get the 1 figure a year as a creations exclusive if you're lucky
>>11924830>The 80's show pushed boundariesNo it didnt. Filmation was also paint by numbers, and featured scary characters and such just to fill in the same old madlib blanks every episode. Inbetween that was just the same family-friendly filler and recycled animation of cutting only ropes and "throwing things" as an attack

>>11925956>>11926022You literally didn't refute anything he said, you just said "nuh uh" and listed aspects of the show style you disliked without explaining how it failed to push boundaries. A lot of late millennials seem to have problems with the breakfast question so they can't understand that things exist in the context of their time.
>>11926035I didn’t have breakfast wtf you talking about?
*Yawn* anyway I was going through my Marvel Legends baf parts and noticed I had Puff Adder's head. I think he'd look good on TMNT Mekaneck's body. Like a guy who joined the Snakemen or he was just always snakey. I also got Leatherhead, I'm going to get him a blue hoodie so he can fill in for Lizard Man.
Did the one anon who talked about editing the marvel humor out of the MOTU movie ever release his cut?

>>11925736Yeah, I grabbed the Origins He-Man at that price, mostly for customizing. I wanted the Teela for her sword but they still wanted $20+ for her.>>11925953Somethings have never popped up. I'd like another Prince Adam or two but only for under $10. For customs and background NPCs. And I ended up ordering mine during a Wally's rollback. >>11926080Try Necro-Conda's chest armor if you have him, the green won't match with the head but I feel like it would work with the shade of green on the hands, belt, and boots. Otherwise King Hiss Shredder has a harness and belt with a green shade that may match better to the head.
>>11925956They insulted him for speaking the truth.

As an example of what I’ve done just imagine to opening without Adam’s voice over. It still ends with him freaking his date out with the story. Picked up the 200x wave from Ross. Saw this S7 Thundertank for $230. Amazon dropped the price on core Skel-knights back down to $12 so I picked up more of them.
My MV Fisto came in, I wish Walmart would really let customers decide what they want a primo code applied on. If I had gotten the entire discount, I'd be more inclined to definitely keep him. I am only really here for the head sculpt and his sword, and think the buck of the New Eternia one - with the entire arm being die-cast - works better. But the NE head, even with the spare head, is kinda MEH.>>11927181>core Skel-knightsI want them for like $6
>NOTMINE
>>11927327>I want them for like $6I know. Can you believe last week Amazon wanted them for $21!
>>11927181Id flip my shit if I saw that in person. The sale price is pitiful but still, incredible what hits discounters nowadays. It'sprobably been noted already but dollar tree is selling cheapo MOTU plushies now.
>>11926945Mini comic lore.
>>11927329Definitively jealous, I limited myself to base He-man and base Skeletor.
>>11927521I saw one of the large (14" or so) Naruto Blokees kits, which retailed for $49 at that price on Ross. and then that store got a second box, ten or so days later, and I saw one at another store. I was hoping it would not sell and get pink tagged but when I checked on Thursday, the store with two had lost one. The large NECA masks of Beastmen all sold. It surprises me but supposedly people with money are shipping at Ross and Costco, if you believe the news sites.
>>11926917>they’ll go easy on MotuThey won't release movie product but they should still release Sketchbook Series. Chronicles will likely get 2 to 4 waves, the same way New Eternia, Revelations and the other MV figures were released in waves of three characters. So anywhere from potentially 6 to 12 Chronicles sized figures. They will probably do more things like the recent laser release in 2027.Just because they are busy with TMNT and DC, they should still release some products. The question is whether they will get to retail. Right now, for example, people are bitching that they can't find the second wave of K-Pop DH 6.5" figures in stores, after the most popular ones in the first wave sold really well.
>>11927619Whatever 2027 holds, I'll be really disappointed if we dont get 87' movie origins figures. At the very least just shell out sauroud, the skeletroopers, skeletor, and he-man
>>11927619>They won't release movie productOne per wave
>>11927329I still feel awful for missing out on that snow armor. That's the coolest Mondo figure I've seen
>>11927619>>11927952We know there are 4 waves officially. We know the first 3 and target will have panthor as an exclusive
I broke down today when I was hitting Ross, especially since I saved a lot at Target on the impact resistant case for my new phone so I left with Invisible Skeletor this time, since I don't see him at every Ross, just rarely, and they only had the one carded figure, Plus I need something to ride on the Panthor I bought. I need to find where I stuck that and I'll take photos. But I suppose this forces me to buy the translucent core skeletor now and fuck me if I have seen that in hand. Is he just an EE and Walmart exclusive?
>the movie was a disaster flop>origins rebooting with just the A-tier characters and BAFs>the vintage is now "complete" so Mattel can wash their hands of itit's over
>>11928181He's on Amazon for $10.
>>11928401The Translucent First One Core? Good to know, thanks. Apparently, some Targets do have it in stock, I've probably walked right by some and passed them by.I'm also due to hit Walmart but I'll probably wait till November, after I get my Toy Secret Santa assignment, since the better Targets are two cities, and next county over. Still my metro area, but at least an hour and several freeways. That's what I had to do to get the Camo He-Man, since he wasn't propping up in my metro area and I wanted to look at the harness and face in hand.>>11928270doom posting is trolling, sonthey must really miss you over at the Legends or NECA gensbut here's that (you) you're craving so BADLY

>>11928552It's sort of ironic that CC Whiplash languishes while the vintage style one came out in the wave that was hard to come by to begin with and never saw proper distribution

>>11928636No love for Mekaneck, Stinkor or Two Bad?
I'm at a very interesting point with my MOTU collecting, The MONDO stuff is so good it makes the mattel stuff look like shit, so I avoid it, but the MONDO stuff is still over priced as hell so I also avoid it as well, so I end up getting nothing.
>>11928733So you just watch everyone else enjoy themselves, eh? At least you can settle for the Filmation episodes, for free on-line.
>>11928270It isn't but I am annoyed how they are handling it, again. I didn't care for the movie toys or 200X so this year has been pretty empty for me.I am wanting more Filmation CC figures. They still have more to do for 200X too.I also don't know why they won't make >>11926353 or the chameleon OC guy or others.Maybe I am biased, but I think they went a little too hard on the movie stuff. It is understandable, but they should have been working their other toylines in parallel to hook new customers instead of 100% movie. Actually, the movie would have been the perfect time to introduce the BAF line so people can buy the vintage figures and the movie figures. Instead they only got movie figures (and either He-Man or Skeletor re-releases that they rereleased 3 times already).
>>11928442>>11928401He's back up to $16.99 so I set a price alert.
>>11928680Stinkor if he came with his post transformation self, Fisto and Mekanek , Marzo and Disco Skeletor were my most wanted 200x. Actually they were the only ones I wanted and they didn't make any of them so lol.
I won another auction, so I added three more Masterverse villains, including dupes, but at least they either have accessories I want or something else useful:Tri-Klops and Kobra Khan, plus the stripper version of Evil-Lyn. I also got the New Eternia Mek. I know some of these have popped up at DDs and Ross but I haven't seen any in months and I had planned to get at least one of these from the BBTS sale if I didn't find it for less. With what I paid out in person yesterday at Ross and Target, plus two other (non-MOTU) auctions, I've blown several hundred plus on plastic crack in the past two days.

I can't remember if it was earlier in this thread or the last thread, but anyone that bought this - for MOTU - can you post (I couldn't find anything in the archive) any type of He-Man related character on this so I can get an idea. I know it's designed for a 7" McFarlane so I assume the 5.5 figures look a bit small but probably similar to one of the Origins on Battlecat? This definitely looks bigger than some of the vehicles, like Stridor, that I have seen in person. And thanks!
>>11929464It doesn't list announcements, apparently, until closer to actual retail, it looks like (in other words, when you can do an actual pre-order and thus why I mentioned 'affiliate links'): https://heman.org/toys/And I don't think that's what you - or if not you, this anon >>11928509The other site I wish were more complete and doesn't appear to list unreleasrd figures would be Action Figure 411. And even their pricing info can be off. Helpful but not 100% fully reliable.
>>11929610Damn that's cool, if I find one I'll pick it up and make some pictures for ya. From other images I've seen it looks like the midsection is plenty narrow enough for Origins dudes.

Great figure, highly recommended if you want something other than Origins or Core.>>11928442>>11928401Macy's TRU came though, so I got him, and Teela with the alternate sword. It's not back in stock at their on-line site.I also found something else at a different store, that's 2025 holiday stock that was cleared out by NYE, so I wonder if a warehouse has been cleared out of a store or two closed and stock got redistributed? It can't all be backroom stock unless it was hidden away by some employee who since lost their job or something?
>>11931473>>11931489Jeez I was out of it last night. For some reason I thought you said Man-E-Faces not Man Ar Arms. Yeah, I lucked out and got the last one at my Target.
>>11931599I got the card back version of Zarak that way. If it's just one it was probably returned at checkout and never made it to the right space in the back because the person returning doesn't know where to put it. Also retail stores are under staffed because staffing is the only expense management has control over. A lot of time stuff will just sit in the back cause the employee in charge of it has too many other responsibilities and prioritizes whatever they are most likely to get chewed out for. When I worked at a grocery store the manager was obsessed with having us check/fill bottled water every hour but didn't care about frozen which generated 20 times as much revenue.
Eldor incoming.
At Target today. They also had one, lonely Sketchbook MAA.
>>11931724Meh, give me KEKlar
>>11931724Nice, feels like hes been teased for a long time. I hope we get Plasmar too. Also Pythonus. I wish Mattel went 'screw the sales numbers' and put Pythonus in the Snake Lair anyway.Speaking of, my Snake Lair arrived.>>11932087Yes, he should be sold too.
>>11931724>>11932087>>KEKler>Priest Pythonus, the other figure in the unachieved crowdfunding bonus tier abyss
>>11931118every time I see or hear duncan my mind goes to king randor because I'm thinking king duncan for god knows what reason>>11932330fuck this timeline I want more snakemen NOW
Is the gimmick on dragstor as bad as most videos suggest? It didn't even impress the two disorganized German dudes who review things in their horder murder closet. And they seem easily impressed.
>>11932478>Horde Murder ClosetNever heard of that playset.
>>11932330Considering they already sculpted the head for that four pack, Pythonus is probably the next CG exclusive after Eldor.
>>11932478Forgot this picture.>>11932499It's dimensionally displayed, like Despondos.
>>11932512So the idea is that the club membership guarantees you get something, by paying for it separately, but you might still get it, like the email for the two bad that's buying offered to us regular lackey's who don't pay?
What do you think they'll do next for the Sketchbook series?
>>11932703fingers crossed
>>11932703The girl with the metal boob plate and guy with the goggles from the box art we saw a while ago
>>11932707I'd hit it
>>11932703Which ones are we missing?Teela and Sorceress would be great! Maybe even a two pack of them would work.>>11932707This too!
>>11932118>Plasmar
>>11931056>>11931118Well it's not the symbol of the Skull King, who in those mini-comics, was the one that made that Cena version of Faker (and dang is that toy that rare?) so who the fuck knows?https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/heman/images/e/e1/WWEternia_wave_2_-_Faker_John_Cena_-_02.png
>>11932943Okay. I looked it up. It's a logo from when Cena was doing hip-hop as part of his persona. It's "Chain Gang for Life" or something.
>>11930899Jokes on you, I know nothing about he-man or skeletor. Just like the look
>>11932938So close, they really should release him and Strobo in Origins. Mattel celebrating vintage being complete was way too early. We still got plenty more to go. We didn't hear that bell ring yet.
>>11932977I kind of want the black harness and it's an innocuous enough logo that I don't care, but it looks easy to paint over. Butt he jorts on the legs look as stupid as Cena looks in them. And thanks for the info!
