    What year is this from?

The really shitty thing about these third party marketplace scalpers is that one listing that still wants $2+ for delivery even when charging a 12x markup.
    >>
    >>11915485
If it's vintage then it is what it is. It's not like new shit that's hoarded to create artificial scarcity so scalpers can drive up the price.
    >>
    >>11915559
This. There's a big difference between selling something you're no longer interested in or inherited that's shot up in price over years, in this case literally a century, and something you buy with the express purpose of selling in the near future at a markup.
    >>
Stupidity is it's own reward. If people want something bad enough they'll pay thru the nose to get it.
I will gladly mark-up shit to make a buck, that's capitalism baby!

Obvious bait post but this is literally what 45 year old mums message me on Ebay. Asking why my perfectly preserved vintage toy from 30+ years ago isn't going for the $2.99 sticker price.

People have toys as kids. People get old and rich. People buy what scant remaining specimens still exist. ... ... ...There's no issue here.

This. I don't care if someone is charging a good deal for something vintage or something that was exclusive or had a low-production run. My issue is when there are like 40 listings for a Transformer released in the last 5-6 years and they're all asking for three times retail. There's no scarcity, demand really isn't that high, and chances are that figure will be reissued eventually. Like who the fuck is going to pay 90-100 dollars for a SS86 Ratchet? A DCS two pack is coming and he'll almost certainly be in the upcoming Select Autobot 3 pack since he, Prowl, and Sideswipe are the last three 84 Autobots to not have a Selects release. Who is retarded enough to pay those prices? Same for Studio Series Slag. Who the fuck is paying 200-300 dollars for Slag? Hasbro is actively re-releasing the Dinobots there's no logic to it.

You mean, everyone has the scalper gen in his body.
